8.
1. Central is one heck of a tough team and those boys in the backfield can dance like Mini- Barry Sanders. Impressive Speed. 2. The kid who returned the fumble for Central.  Was that Usain Bolt?  Fastest kid alive IMO. 3.  Central Band was as entertaining as it gets.  It was my first time to see them (been in Air Force last 11 years) and I enjoyed every minute.  And whoever "Big Girl" is..... that was pure greatness. 4.  Fairly decent sportsmanship overall.  5.  Sad to see The Babe go... not a bad stadium if it had a few "upgrades" 6.  PN-G needed a game like this. Tough battle.  7.  To those who left when Central scored the go ahead TD and missed the Dunbar runback... I say to you... "ha ha" 8.  Prayers to the person carted off in Ambulance.  I hope that person is ok. 9.  Outstanding Crowd tonight.  Loud and Proud. 10.  Great effort Central.  Sorry those boys lost it like that on the last game ever in that stadium but PN-G gutted it out in the end.  Way to Go Indians!  11.  To Barbers Hill. Fasten your seat belts.  It's going to be a bumpy ride next week.  Expect Turbulence.  And a loss.  Boom. Roasted. 12... if anyone sees my voice.. I'm going to need that back.
Ain't that the truth

 12.
To all you players who come on this board....do not pay attention to all the crap thet gets spewed by so called fans. The memories you make playing sports you will never forget. Whether you go 10 - 0 or 0 -10 enjoy youself, congradulate the players you meet on other teams. If you compete against a superior athlete enjoy it, one day you may be telling your kids you played against that pro player back in the day. If another player is a dirty or conceded player karma will take of them in life, don't lower your self to that level. Enjoy this time in your life, it only comes once. Let these loud mouth so called fans talk the trash don't get caught up in all this BS. Play your hardest, respect your rivals and have fun! Good luck to all the players, sincere coaches and fans, the rest of you find another way to spend your miserable life other than talking down about young kids, coaches and real fans!
Well put

 14. Faircloth, hands down; no matter who wins on Friday night
 15. Yes, Vidor always chokes, but I can tell you from a player's point of view (a while back), Vidor is always a tough opponent. You could be beating the tar out of them towards the end of the game, and they are still giving 110%. Vidor was always a team I loved playing against.
 16. Nahhh, nobody's biased towards their team on this board...  ;D
 17. I hear that it is going to be verrrrry nice
 18.
OK- everyone put on the rubber boots because it looks like were getting knee deep into the stanky stuff ! :P
Or pull out the umbrella, because the stanky stuff is hittin' the fan!
 19.
We were sitting on the 50 for that game and saw all the others as well.  Dustin Long was truly a great qb-no denying that! Our running game was good, also.  BUT, our team was not truly balanced.  Without Dustin, we'd of been OK at best.  Dustin was responsible for beating Schertz.  We had good running backs that didn't get any playing time when we played for state and I still contend that had they ran more with the ball and mixed up the run/passing we could've won.  A running team can be beat, a passing team can be beat, but mix it up and do both and you have a great team.
I beg to differ, the 1999 team was very well balanced. I remember one of the local papers doing an article on how well balanced PNG was at some point during the playoffs. And as for the state title game, I remember that the running game was getting stuffed all night, except for the 40 yard TD by Wortham to start the 2nd half. I do agree that Dustin was pretty off that game. Also, Dustin was a very important part of the success of the 99 team, but he wasn't the whole team. You need a good defense to stay in alot of those games that team played in, and the defense that year was very stout. That LaMarque game sums up the year for that 99 defensive squad.
 20.
I hope that PNG does well and advances through the playoffs, but I'll be surprised if they make it to the quarters.  The last thing they need to worry about is Angleton.  They will have other tests before them.  I think the jury is still out on how "great" they actually are.  I don't think they have beaten anyone that great, and thats why they are not ranked any higher than they are in most polls. People making comparasions between this team and the 1999 team are either dreaming, or saw the 99 team play bad games.  This team is good, 99 was great.  The 99 team played some pretty good teams in the regular season, and then proved their mettle in the playoffs beating Waller, Brazosport, Lamarque, and Schertz Clemens, all very good teams.  Any suggestions saying this team is anything close to that team is premature and over the top.
Agreed.
