Raider, I agree with your assessment pretty much. Dayton is still the team to beat this year, but the Eagles will be in Bronco busting mode this year. This should be a good game.

Ranger I didn't mean to slight you by hoping to continue the matchups with Dayton, at the rate GCM is improving, there will be plenty of good 4a rivalries in the area for years to come. It just makes it more fun when your opponents can beat you any given Fridaynight.

All I know is that in football Dayton will steamroll 19-4A this year (there may not be a team that comes within 20 points of Dayton this year in district). Dayton would certainly make 20-4A much stronger. You guys are the standard in the District now that's true, but I don't think Dayton will be 20 pts better this year. This is beginning to shape into a good match up this year. Da' B-cos are still the favorite no doubt, but like the man said: We ain't "sceared" of nobody!!! ;D And how ever the districts shake out, I hope we will be in the same one with Dayton or schedule the Purple Ponies every year. That's not bravado, just looking forward to banging heads for years to come!

The BH QB has improved each and every game, he is starting to really lead this team. Also I like the kid from Lumberton.

He has been there the whole season and has played, but he has a fractured hand that looks to be on the mend obviously. He's in a group of about 6 or 7 sophs that are really playing good ball.

Darn if I know. We all see the same things you do. It is just hard to believe that the same school that produced Hanson, Jones, Blake and many others has to count on the QB 90% of the time. It is kind of interesting to watch a spread where the QB is the spread. It is not anyones fault I'm sure if we had a 8th grade running back right now they would move him up. MHS32: I don't think you can "produce" RB's, the ability is there or it's not. The last bruising back with decent speed was Blake, as you mentioned. We play with the marbles in our bucket and do a pretty good job with good ole' fashion hard work and heart. Do you agree?

You are correct, they did combine. Coaching? I think by the next realignment the enrollment might be low-end 5A numbers.
