SC is really good at attacking the line but Vidor is great at hiding the ball and fakes so i dont feel that SC wil be able to stop all the running backs and QB . Can i say over pursuit on SC behalf...lol Vidor wins 24 to 20
On paper SC wins this game. They are talented. Who knows what happens on any given night. They are fast and play pretty good assigment football. Everybody who might have the ball will get hit, and it does take its toll on you. Buckle up. I am going for the 19-4A dawgs in this one.
And on paper Atlanta should have beat NOLA Sunday and Houston should of beat Green Bay.......
Did Drew Brees just move into Vidor?  ;D Just kidding. Good luck to your Pirates

Before the game I actually thought sc would be returning most of their team.
That's 11 starters on both sides of the ball....our entire starting O line comes back, Qb, TE, our RB #3 who rotates, we rotate players pretty good, and SC will be loaded even more so next year
Are #44 and #4 seniors?
 4. You have to admit, they did back it up! It hurts more when SC talks trash and spanks you right afterwards. They have the enrollment and the athletes that come with it. One more year of this and we'll see how they do playing schools with similar enrollment. But for now I tip my hat to them and wish them well!

 6. I think this maybe the best matchup of the 4! I fully expect Dayton to respond with a vengence! This should be a bruiser!

How long will it be before they get there 1st playoff victory in 5A? Realignment might get them a Bi-District foe from other than the present 20-4A.
5A ? We are the smalest school in 19-4A. BH will one day be 5-A, but not his realignment (Even with the introduction of 6A).
I'll go out on a limb and predict BH will be in 5A this coming realignment (considering the classification will be a name change only and everyone will be moving up an 'A').
There is no way BH will be 5A! Book it!
Would you care to make a friendly wager on that? [Hidden Content]
No I would not!  ;D That makes absolutely no sense at all. But thanks for the article.

You have had way too much, way too early. You are delusional if you think either team will win in a blow out. The Barbies have played three viable teams all season and lost to all three, but played each one close. Livingston has played six playoff teams, lost to five and played all pairly close. Both teams lost to Dayton in a relatively close game. Both teams blew out Lumberton. These are two evenly matched teams. Both play smash mouth football. This will be a hard faught, close game. It will probably turn on a special teams play, a turnover or one big play. Oh yea, and the tradition of loosing in the first round of the playoffs.
Hmmm... last 4 years Livingston has made the playoffs twice and lost both times in the 1st round, so it looks like you have a tradition of your own ONE AND DONE or in two of those years NONE AND DONE ;D ;D
Don't kill me for this stat, it doesn't have anything to do with Crosby. Just two weeks ago Livingston gave up 342 rushing yards and 42 points to Vidor. BH is a similar, run it 60 times team but do have a relatively good defense. Unless Collins goes crazy, I think BH pounds Livingston.
That's your problem, you're trying to think ;D ;D all you know or think you know is stats, take it from someone who knows football, stats can be deceiving when comparing one team to another, you need to learn to look at personnel, coaching, etc. I know for a fact Livingston runs more than 1 defense and have different players for each game situation. They will see Friday our defensive Coach will shut them down, I'm not going to say anymore, we'll just wait until Friday. ;D ;D
So did the coach forget to switch defenses in the five losses? :o
Nope, he did exactly what he intended to do. Our whole season has been about developing our team and winning the ones that count. To bad for you, because this one and everyone after counts, We'll shut you out and you will still be one and done. ;D
Quite a genious you have there. Intentionally losing five games to prepare for little ol' Barbers Hill. We should be so honored! Buckle up! I have no idea if we can beat the lions, but I know they have been beat .... 5 times so one more won't hurt your feelings I'm sure.
I have to disagree with you on this one MBG. Besides 92 what position is Ned better at on D. Maybe 90 on the other side but if so not much. # 76 for SC is the best d-tackle in this district and the best I've seen so far this year. SC secondary are bigger and faster, the linebackers are bigger and faster, I'll give the D-line a push but SC gets interior pressure while Ned gets it off the ends. We played both teams, and we only scored 7 on Ned but it was the first game of the season with a new coaching staff so I'm sure it would be different now. We barely got 20 on SC and we're one of the most potent offenses in the region. Pryor is one of Ned big time players and doesn't have a rivals offer/interest sheet yet. Start looking up the SC players on D and you'll see what I'm talking about.
Nederland's entire front 4 are beasts big strong and fast... Nederland's linebacks are tough also... Nederland's secondary has lots of ints and lots of pick 6's also... Vidor wins with ball control... Run it down their throats  like you all did Crosby last year and SC  will be crying like Crosby did last year saying "how did a bunch of white boys running the ball beat us"  :o :o :( >:( :-\ :'( :'(
Good luck with that! ;)
 12.
i believe BH added on to their stands on the home side.  If they did then the stadium probably hold 8,000 - 9,000.
That is correct, the home side was extended on both ends. Not sure of the capacity though.

BH won't stop Livingston and Livingston don't know how to spell defense, so it will be a track meet. Livingston  ??? BH ??? ;D
BH goes out in 1st round again:::::::::::::::::::::::::: Liv 34 BH 17
Summer Creek scored 24 while Dayton scored 13 and Livingston is going to score 34 ;D ;D ;D Goodluck with that ;)
I believe Livingston will score more than 34 points in this game. 8)
What makes you think Livingston will put up 34 points on BH's D?

It pretty much speaks for itself. Great season to the Brenham Cubs as I know you guys will be back next year. Congrats to Ozen for making 20-4A shine this weekend. Keep up the good work... 25. Congrats Ned, hard fought well deserved victory.
