  1. Glad yall are here, I won't worry about posting. Hoping for a competitive game. Which Rebel team will show up, and does it matter against the Wildcats?
  2. Spend that money....we got our schedule the other day. Austin, Dallas, Houston - x2, Lake Point, Ga, Joplin, Mo, Austin and a few others tbd.
  3. Lady Rebs will be right there.
  4. I am ready for some college baseball. Already got tickets for Lamar/LSU. CWS is my favorite sporting event of the year. Ready to catch as many games as I can this year on tv. Basically, I am anxious for the season to begin.
  5. We are still in basketball, so I have to live vicariously through your post. How did your teams do in their scrimmages today? How you looking?
  6. Simply not possible. Lil ol 2A athletes could only dream of throwing this fast (insert sarcasm here).
  7. Congrats. The few times I have seen her, she has always been a very classy coach. 500 (+) wins is impressive no matter who you are, or what you coach.
  8. Not knowing the teams as well as I should, I see it as: 1) WS 2) Colmesneil, 3) Broaddus, and 4) Chester.
  9. Dang, 89-93, he is probably getting several good looks with that velo. Know a couple of kids in that grade throwing that hard that have already committed to major D-1s. Best of luck this season, and look forward to catching a few games of yalls this season.
  10. Bi-District double header: 1) Chester / Dime box at 6, 2) Spurger / Prairie Lea at 7:30. Game at Cypress Falls on Monday, 02/16.
  11. I was working and did not get to see it. However, everything I have read has been negative. I think "stars" just think they have to be shocking and controversial to be relevant.
  12. Final from Rebel Gym: SP - 56 Evadale - 73 Both teams have clinched a playoff spot.
  13. 3rd quarter score: SP - 39 Evadale - 50
  14. Halftime score has the Rebels up 34-20.
  15. 1st Quarter score: SP - 19 Evadale - 16.
  16. Girls take the win (on senior night) 79-21. Boys game on the way, and should be a competitive game.
  17. JV game had the Rebels on top 72-31. Senior night for the Lady Rebels, and then we have our varsity boys gane.
  18. Since there is not much chatter on baseball yet, how about this topic? Who will take the deepest run this year (any classification)? We have some quality teams this year who are poised to have great seasons. Not slighting the BH/Crosby/Baytown (outer Houston area), but I just don't know much about them. Locally though, Silsbee is loaded with pitching, as is PN-G. Nederland has some quality arms, and Warren - Kirbyville should really have a great battle in their district which will strengthen them for a deep run. WO-S made the finals last year, and will fight the perennial powerhouse BC and aforementioned Silsbee. Small schools have Big Sandy and West Sabine as pre-season top teams, with Evadale sneaking around with a pretty good team. Kelly should have a pretty good team on the private section. I am ready for the season, so let's hear it.
  19. Final, Rebels 72-46.
  20. 3rd quarter ends and finds the Rebels up 57-37.
  21. Halftime score: Evadale - 38 HD - 27
  22. First quarter score: Evadale - 18 HD - 12
  23. Here now, boys JV about to start.
  24. No sir, not familiar with him - yet. But I will sure find out. I think the one he is talking about is Parker Moye (LHP).
