TX Cares Antibody study (natural vs vaccination)
Chester86 replied to Steven Avery's topic in Local Headlines
Serious question, no alternative or innuendo, are you vaccinated or already had the infection? I have had it, pretty sure twice and I am reading conflicting articles. Very interesting study; thanks for posting and keep us updated. -

What good have biden and the democrats done?
Chester86 replied to BS Wildcats's topic in Political Forum
This is why I think of: > He fixed the border (scratches through - NO-No-No) > He stopped Covid (scratches through - No-No-No) -
That was amazingly accurate!!!!! Thanks for posting.

Top 10 best coaches in Setx??
Chester86 replied to Indians4life's topic in High School Boys Basketball
Man the pay raise they must get for making the list, surely this is monitored by school administrators. “Hey coach I see you are up for a new contract - well you weren’t on the list of top area coaches so we’re going to have to let you go. We are checking on the whereabouts of Grey Giovanine.” -
Maybe they can wear latex gloves with school logos on the palms, and masks with scary mouths printed on them - surely this is a joke right? 15 yard penalty for sweating on the opponent, needlessly endangered and exposed the other team to biological hazards…….it’s football - not ballet.

Remembering Todd Broussard (WOSgrad) 8-21-21

Great guy who had a tremendous ability to use the written word to convey his thoughts. Prayers to his family and he will be missed. A truly dedicated man who worked tirelessly to give local sports a community voice. -

“Hot eggs, bologna and gravy” - his songs made you think, listen and enjoy. “How old you think I am? I said well I don’t know. I turned 65 about 11 months ago.” All the old hands are fading away but we’ll have their music with us to remember them by.

I found this to be an interesting article. I always try to see other viewpoints, narratives and just try to be educated on things that I am not. I really feel the world would be a better place if we stopped looking at what made us different but that is a whole different talking point. I admire some parts of the black culture and like seeing people who are proud of who they are and where they came from. I just wonder sometimes if people view me from a singular perspective. I have read some posts today that were rife with a bubbling layer of discontent flowing just below the surface. Anyway, enjoy the article. [Hidden Content] From the article: Robert Palmer, a professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at Howard University. "This HBCU is a place that we came to, to be around folks who are like us, our culture, our experiences, who can relate to our issues, and also to have a sense of being uplifted," he said. But it’s also why “there's a sense that [non-Black students] are invaders,” he noted.

See my friend, that is just the thing - I’m not scared. I serve a risen Savior who’s in the world today. I have not once really fretted, never wore a mask, had the disease (probably twice) and life goes on. I am not an “anti-vaxxer” as I have had all required, and who knows what else administered while I was in the military. I just never thought in my own country would I be asked for “papers” to dine somewhere, see a show or go about daily life. But hey, life will go on and we’ll adjust.

What is the death rate from COVID-19?

I posted something similar on another thread, but basically stated, where does it stop? Dallas Cowboys (killed natives to settle land) Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Fighting is bullying, Irish is exclusive) Seattle Mariners (Harvesting the sea, killing sea creatures) California Angels (1 religion exclusive) On and on we could go with how these team names could offend someone. They are names that are associated with a sports team. There are so many people out there that are just looking to be offended. There are those that just want to change things because they want them changed. Americans used to be so strong, protect other nations and now we worry about names of sports teams.

The golden age of no accountability. The age of “no consequences for your actions”. The age of “it’s (society’s, schools’s, govt’s, etc., etc.) fault - not yours.” The age of bo prayer in schools. The age of cursing out loud in public. The age of neutered law enforcement. The age of hate and rage against a country and a system that provides opportunities. The age of “demand what your country can do for you - NOT what you can do for your country.” Jiminy Crickets I could go on and on. The main reason is a country who has turned it’s back on God.

The only problem I see with that cartoon is they are dumping the money in the country and not the Democratic ran cities. -
