It’s official now - time to order the banner.

Since it can’t be disputed I’d like to congratulate my Chester Yellowjackets for the Class1-A state championship. I know it will have an asterisk beside it, but I wanted to be the first to offer my applause for a job well done. I know Evadale was up there too, but I wasn’t able to stay for the 2-A championship game. If one of the Rebel faithful will let us know how it turned out I’d appreciate it.

8-6 Silsbee over Livingston
Lead off can flat swing it 2Hr and a double
Who’s leading off? My nephew is on the team, but I don’t think he has that much power.

What happened to being Texans?
Remember the Alamo!
Remember Goliad!
Now it’s “self isolate”, and elbow-bump. We cancel the Houston Rodeo? I’m ashamed; I expect this in California and New York. Sucks for all the seniors.

Not sure of the score but know Kirbyville won.

1. 2010 Abilene ISD teams or 2011 Port Arthur Memorial team
2. Hmmmm... Chester is definitely one of em.
3. Used to be b-dubs, now it's Chili's.
4. Yup, favorite one is Grandview.
5. Grandview
6. Edna Karr in Louisiana
7. Definitely targeting, it's getting ridiculous on all levels of football.
8. Florida
9. Im a fan of both.
10. Yes.
11. I would be fine with that, but travel would be an issue for alot of teams.
12. For SETX: Port Arthur Memorial. For Statewide: San Angelo Central.
Reference #2, Come on up to beautiful Aubrey Bradley Stadium, you’ll love it. I was at a game a couple years ago and Larry and Nancy Bealieu came up and sat by us. They said they always wanted to see a 6-man game.

I have no clue where to even start researching this, but who has the longest streak of post-season playoff runs? I ask because I know of a school that is at risk of not making post-season play and I can’t remember the last time they didn’t play in the bi-district round.

I know Goodrich won, but Chester honored the 1970 Class B State Championship. They had a new banner printed up for the gym. Had to miss the dedication for work, but pretty exciting for the Chester faithful.

Sounds great, look forward to seeing it.

That takes effort, and then you have to scroll through all these different schedules.

Not much love for local teams - saw BC, and Kirbyville.

Jiminy Crickets it’s getting all racial up in here. Sports is supposed to be a respite from the real world. Who’d of thought the HS basketball forum would have people stirred up more than the political forum.

That’s what I’m talking about!!! Blind squirrel finds an acorn every now and then. But like my daddy said, “If you ain’t first - you’re last.”

So......I guess we’ll have to shut the country down every winter now. We’ve allowed the government to “mandate” and “restrict” our liberties for awhile now. We’ve invited big brother to tell us how to live our lives. Fear rules, and “trust us - we know what’s best for you”. No thanks.
