Jersey Village here we come.

Evadale vs Shiner at Jersey Village. Game 1 Friday at 7. Game 2 Saturday at 3, and game 3 if needed 30 minutes after game 2.

That is definitely huge; Carthage is always a perennial power. VYPE had Colmesneil as a top 10 contender and they were beat in 2. Orangefield is really playing well, and beat a quality ranked Hudson squad.

Coach is narrowing down the location. It does look like we'll have a series though, and a Friday / Saturday series. Hoping to have everything finalized tomorrow. Let's go Rebs!!!!

The Evadale Rebels will take on the Shiner Comanches in the area round. Shiner won district 28-2A. Shiner is currently 3rd in the THSBCA polls, and 12th in the THSB polls. They have a 20-3 record. Looking forward to hearing when and where we'll be playing at. There are no common opponents. Let's go Rebs!!!!!

Parker Moye threw a dandy tonight. He strung out 4 hits, struck out 11, and was in control the whole game.

Win 11-1. Daniel Bean threw 75 pitches, struck out 8, 0 walks. 1 hit in the first inning off a diving LF. Parker Moye with a triple and a sacrifice fly/RBI. Cade Flowers was 3-4, with a triple and 2 rbi's. Klay Stlvester was 2-3 with 2 rbi's. Everyone in the lineup contributed. Parker Moye will tie the rubber for game 2.

We've (Evadale) played them in the bi-district round the last 2 years. I believe that if you can get some good pitching from the Pirate bullpen, keep the games close and get some timely hits you have a good shot. Best of luck and we'll be pulling for the Pirates from afar.

The Rebels will take on the Mumford Mustangs in bi-district action. They will play a double-header in Montgomery on Friday, with the first game starting at 5. Game 3, if needed, will be at Mumford on Saturday at 3. The Mustangs are the 3rd place team in District 26-2A. They went into Monday as the #1 seed, but lost 2 games on Monday to Burton & Iola. They are 10-3 overall, and 10-3 in district. They returned all nine starters from last seasons team, with one of their players being a THSBCA all-state selection. The winner of this series will get the winner of Shiner / Rosebudd -Lott. That round will be played sometime before the May 13th deadline. Best of luck to all the 25-2A(1A) representatives, Big Sandy, Deweyville, Sabine Pass, Spurger & High Island as we all start the road to Round Rock.

The Rebels played the Lovelady Lions in a warm-up game. It was played in Big Sandy. Great game, and the Lions win 4-1.

Congrats to the Sharks. Was keeping up on GC, and that game went back and forth. Heartbreaking (of course) for the Oilers, but both teams gave everything they had. Best of luck to the Sharks, and looking like they will have the Mumford Mustangs in the 1st round. They have a game remaining with Burton. If Burton wins that game the district will have a 3 way tie between Mumford, Burton & Iola.

As stated earlier - "Know there has to be another side (AD / Administrative) and just would love to hear it." Thank-you, that is a logical response. I can clearly see that as an appropriate reasoned response.
