  1. The bottom 2 schools in each 2A district will go into the 1A playoff. There will still be 4 2A schools going out of each district. It is confusing, but does that make more sense. I guess they just didn't want to establish a whole new set of districts, and more travel for the smaller schools.
  2. Yessir, they play in 25-2A, but new this year is the 1A playoff system. Still 4 teams going in the 2A section too......a little too much if you ask me.
  3. You can put an asterisk (*) by High Island and Spurger as they have already clinched playoff births in the 1A bracket.

  14. Big Sandy. - 0-0 0-2-0 Rebels. - 0-0 0-0-0
  15. They have set fire in the pre-district part of the schedule. Big Sandy is definitely as advertised.
  16. Every district has those big rivalries. District 25-2A has Dallrdsville Big Sandy traveling to Rebel Diamond to take on Evadale in an early season district rivalry match. My parents say there are two games every year they won't miss and it's this series. The Wildcats are 10-2 / 1-0, and the Rebels are 3-5 / 1-0. Big Sandy is coming off several impressive tournament outings in Trenton, Evadale and the Silsbee tourneys. Evadale has struggled a little bit, but played everyone close. Big Sandy has several high-profile athletes committed to play at the next level in Austin Hendrix and Bryce Holmes. Rebel Diamond will be packed. This game will have a 6:00 pm start time, and it will be a full house. There is a lot of respect between the two teams, and they rarely disappoint from a competitive and rivalry standpoint. Looking forward to a great game. Let's go Rebels.
  17. Way to go 'Cats! Keep it rolling.
  18. Big Sandy was winning 9-2 when I left. The younger Holmes had just hit a bomb.
  19. Turn your phone sideways, it helps a little.
