Anybody heard anything on filling this opening?

Hate to see that with it being his senior year coming up.  Not even gonna give a new guy a chance I guess.

With the playoffs nearing an end, is there any talk about this job? 

Been a while since anything has been said with the playoffs going on, but any word on the street about the open head football coach position there?

Strange, I spoke with one too and he said he had no idea there were any kids out sick.  Could it be we have a serious game of sandbagging being played out?  8)

Kids in Trinity aren't sick, they just don't want to practice and still play on Friday night.

Obviously you haven't coached at Warren.  Surely you setx experts know how hard is to win there.  And if you got out much you would know 4 wins at Union Hill ain't that bad either.  Good luck Coach Woodard.

Hey that's 4 more wins than Barbay had when he got the job and 4 more than when he left.  How about give the guy a chance?!

Read on another board Coach Barbay has resigned. 

How about Langston?  Didn't he almost get it when it was open last time? 

Maybe Carson picked the right time to get out of Eisenhower.

Trinity did not win 10 games in his 3 seasons.  He was also the head coach at Trinity for 1 season when he was a "finalist" for the Hamshire Fannett job.  He remained at Trinity when he didn't get it.

Langston was at Trinity for 3 seasons- 2 wins, 4 wins and 2 wins(would have been 3 but had to forfeit only district win due to playing ineligible player this year).  To my knowledge, no players were removed from team for discipline issues.  Quite the opposite, kids that most coaches would have let go for multiple reasons were kept on and coddled for the sake of winning.  The numbers excuse is what coaches use when they are let go and want to try and save face. 

What happened at Trinity?  Thought he was the man to turn that program around.

The Old Coach says Humble is open.  Anyone confirm this?

Saw Trinity outside of Huntsville is posted on TASA.  Anyone know anything about the situation there?

Any thoughts?  Evadale pulled out a close hard fought win at home last year and both teams graduated quite a few seniors. 

And you are?  I don't think it will be a blowout.  The Zavalla tournament has been some time ago.  GUess we won't have to wait much longer to find out.

Did Kountze graduate a few starters from last year?  Heard they had.  I am going with Trinity.  Might surprise some folks.
