Yeah yall right, Deweyville and Warren aint the team that newton is. But that aint what i said either. I said "Buna needs to come out and play like they are playing Deweyville or Warren". What that means is that Buna needs to ignore this talk about newton being the state champs and "almighty barbay". They need to come out and play this game like any other game, with one thing on their mind: EXECUTION. Buna executes+Newton plays over confident+a little luck=BUNA VICTORY Period.

I gotta give credit where credit is due. Newton is the defending state champs. But this thing is getting way out of proportion. The biggest thing that newton has over buna is not speed, not size but intimidation. all i've ever heard growing up is newton this, barbay that. man they're just a team full of high school boys like every other team in the state. buna needs to come out and play like they are playing Deweyville or Warren and not even think about who their opponent is. in texas high school football anybody can beat anybody any given night and i am a firm believer in that. if buna plays to their full potential and newton makes the mistake of overlooking them or doesn't execute then buna's gonna get the win. Gotta give props to my boys. they played a great game and came out with another big win. these boys will playing in the playoffs and they earned every bit of it no matter what anybody else says. period.

Buna played great against DV. they dominated the whole game. If they play half that good against Warren they will come out on top. Buna has a chance to go to the playoffs for the first time since 1999. The good thing is they have a young team and will be better next year. The bottom line is Buna football is back for the next couple years. 2A watch out. PERIOD!! Buna-35 Warren-7

Gotta give props to my boys. they played good against EC but that QB was too quick. me and alot of other people still have a bad taste in our mouths from that loss to Deweyville last year. Coach bickham coached in buna 2 years ago and thinks he knows them well but he dont. Buna will make a statement with this victory and be playing for a playoff spot next week. period!!

The best coach of all time is Cotton Robinson of Buna. He won seven state championships in 2A. Coach Hyden won 3 or 4 with the girls in Buna also

Warren and Buna will be tough in 2A. The Worsham kid from Warren is tough and their is another kid in Warren that is good. The question is will they play singles or team up to play doubles. Buna is athletic and scrappy. H-J is always strong in boys. Matt Minick will be their #1 Kirbyville is strong in girls. Salina Aranda is their #1

Girl: Salina Aranda-Kirbyville Senior She has went to state 2 out of the last 3 years finishing 3rd last year. She is a Super Champ. Oh yeah and shes my cousin. Boy: Matthew Deaver-Silsbee Sophmore He went to state in doubles with his brother as a freshman last year and smoked me in district 6-0 6-1. He is a Super Champ and has great potential. Yeah and he's not a bad soccer player either.

Homecoming can be a distraction when it is your Homecoming. It can also be something to get fired up about when you are someone elses homecoming. Getting picked as someone elses homecoming can be a spit in the face and that can be exactly what a team needs for motivation. Last year Buna played homecoming in Silsbee because the hurricane tore up the stadium so it felt just like another road game.

Is Moye planning on moving back to Jasper and will he be elgible if he does?? A Jasper student told me he is running the scout team during practice in Jasper and showed up for coach Weatherspoon's funreal. But Coop says he is in Diboll. Can i have a final word from someone? K-ville will win this game. I have played both these teams the last two years and K-ville hits harder, is more hungry, and can gain momentum faster that Jasper. PERIOD.

Jasper without Gilbert Moye: K-ville by 21 Jasper with Gilbert Moye: K-ville by 7 I predict a high scoring game ecspecially if Moye is elgible. This move in for K-ville has legit moves and breakaway speed. He is the real deal. PERIOD. I see K-ville finishing 2nd or 3rd in district behind WOS, if WOS is healthy. K-ville looked solid against Liberty and could have hung about 20 more points on Cleveland earlier this season.
