AP#65

I have to go with my team (AP) but I honestly have my doubts. No passing defense with the inability to pass may be a repeat of last week. I really do not care to see the second team of Woodville after half.

I think the teams have to be close to the same level of play and actually compete for it to be considered a rivalry. We cannot at this time claim that.

Good job EC. I have never seen a team so dominated on each and every play. I knew we had no pass defense but I thought after the last 2 years we would at least work on our passing game. Oh well we did not and the lack of a passing game was only outdone by our inability to stop the pass. Great job once again and good luck in the playoffs.

Justin is out and so is starting QB, Wyatt, but others have steped up in there absence. That is a great loss by any standard but the team is playing well together. Looking forward to a great game and best of luck to both teams.

Got to pull for AP but it will be a very good game no matter the outcome. The AP offense is getting stronger and the EC defense is always tough. This will be a good one.

I do not know if it will compare to the EC victory over Newton but we always welcome EC fans at our house and we are looking forward to going to your house next week. This should be a very good game if there are not a lot of turnovers.

Yes, that was an impressive running up the score, and shutout of Warren. When is winning not enough. The players for Woodville should be proud of that victory as they proved to another team in our district that they are not quiet ready yet. I would like to see the stats from the Newton game posted Friday after the game so we all can see how impressive Woodville is.

Everyone is overrated when they are winning and when they loose they are made aware of that. Football is played on the field, not written in a book.Buna has a great physical team that is always competative, and they are consistent every year. I am looking forward to the contest on Friday night and as always the better team that night will win. I think it comes down to who wants it more, and what effort they are willing to put forth to make it happen. The speed does factor in also because one step and they are gone, but who makes that first step. This years contest will be a great matchup but I am still pulling for my guys to take this one big. Your friends to the West are aware that EC is a very good team for a while now and we are looking forward to the competition. No matter who wins it will, like always, be a great game.

I like Hardins field also, however, I think it is way too early to start analyzing the season for the district. Lot of football left to play for all the teams. Let what happens on the field decide who is or is not worthy and who is still working on gettting to the top.

Well earned victory for EC. That was an exciting game and it turned out as expected. Looks like EC is the front runner now after beating Woodville and Newton (the 2 teams picked ahead of them in the district). Great game and congradulations.
