1. I have heard that Lumberton has a good defensive player who is a returning letterman and a senior. His name is Justin Lyons. They say he is the best player on their team. He should be included on your voting list.
2. How can you pick Sammy Lavador for kicker. He didn't kick any field goals.  He only kicked in Centrals last 4 district games. There 1st kicker, Servando Vizcaino, only kicked in the first 3 district games and was 13 for 13 on PAtS and no field goals. He was then replaced with Lavador.  Dylan Browning should have also been on this list.
3. PNG by 7 The Indian fans will be there for the hunt.
4. Central by alot
5. P.A. Memorial  42 Westbrook      14 It will prob. be similar to the Katy/Westbrook game.
6.
If a kid transfers to a new school (and the parents move/live in that district), he must sit out for 15 days. If a kid moves into a new district and the parents reside outside of said district, he must sit our one calendar year from the day he enrolled (only applies to Varsity, the kid can play JV). That is the UIL rule. He must also have a Previous Athletic Participation form signed by both schools saying that it was not for athletic purposes.
If the parents are married or separated, both parents have to make the move to the new district, not just one. (g) SEPARATED PARENTS. (1) If a student’s parents separate (and are not divorced), and if one parent remains in the attendance zone where the student has been attending school, the student’s residence is presumed to be that of the parent who did not move. (2) If a student transfers to a new school with a separated (but not divorced) parent, the student is ineligible for one calendar year
7. Even if the other coach signed the paper work, his parents would have to be legally divorced in order for him to be living with his father in the LCM school district and eligible to play varsity football. If they are just separated, then he is  ineligible to play for one year.
8.
I know how to read. Don't get smart.
Not trying to get smart. Sorry if it sounded that way. Just saw the rules and thought it would give people the information that would help them understand UIL rules.
9. It is still being discussed because he cannot leave his house in West Orange and move with his dad to LCM school district if his parents are still married. The entire family would have to make the move. They have to be legally divorced. Read the UIL rules.
10. Does anyone know if the parents are separated or legally divorced? This makes a difference. If they are legally divorced and Hooks signed the waiver, then he is eligible. If they are just separated, then he is  ineligible according to UIL rules  (Section 442). Read the rules on the UIL website: [Hidden Content] (g) SEPARATED PARENTS. (1) If a student’s parents separate (and are not divorced), and if one parent remains in the attendance zone where the student has been attending school, the student’s residence is presumed to be that of the parent who did not move. 11. Are his parents divorced or separated? If they are just separated then he is ineligible according to UIL rules. [Hidden Content] Look at section 442 & 440 It says that if the parents are separated, if one parent remains in the attendance zone where the student has been attending school, the student’s residence is presumed to be that of the parent who did not move. (2) If a student transfers to a new school with a separated (but not divorced) parent, the student is ineligible for one calendar year.
12. the game is over and vidor won that's that. both teams played sloppy last night and we have to admit that. regardless we will can't ask ourselves WHAT IF the game had went this way would the Raider have wont? Truth is we will never know! The game wasn't a total give away and you know it! Both teams did great. And as for who has the better parking. who cares! I mean really! It's stupid to argue over parking. Good post guy! It is tough to loose. We know this well. Last week still stings, but the reality is there is always next week. If you don't get over this week next week could be another disapointment! Central is fast and tough! ;D Your right PFL, its tought to lose and the raiders have to forget about losing this one, fix the mistakes (the fumble, the missed fgs, the bad snaps to the quarterback and to the holder, and most definitely all the penalties which stopped the drives) and be prepared for Central next week.
13. The Bears will take this one. Bears 28 Bulldogs 7
14. LIvingston takes this one. Too quick for the Indians. Lions 42 Png 14
15. If the Raiders can get past the penalties, the fgs, the fumbles, and the bad snaps then they can take the Jags. Yea this is part of the game but the raiders need to improve on this.
16. Lumberton beat themselves tonight, with a fumble which resulted in a td, 2 missed fg with one being from a bad snap, too many penalties, and some passes that should have been caught for tds.
17. If Atterberry gets some protection from the linemen, then he will do ok. No QB will be able to execute if the blockers don't block.
18. I have one concern about this scenario nation, Guiterrez is still struggling, do you really think he can hit it from 42 yards out? At Friday nights game he never once stop kicking into the kicking net unless to make a extra point. I was very impressed with that and also if you can remember in the presseason he missed every other kick but at Friday's game he was 6 for 6 with a do over cause by livingstons offsides. I have faith in him and I have faith In the coaches in making the right choices in the upcoming game. Great improvement with the snapper, holder, and kicker working together; Timing is the key. The linemen did a great job holding the defense back on the PATs. Great Effort!!! Good Luck Raiders, keep the W's coming.
