You will be hearing more of them in the future starting tomorrow with their semifinal game and either their third place or championship game. Up here in College Station, will be listening on the radio. The wind is howling up here, 30-40 mph. I'm hoping it's the same conditions down there so it will dull down Dawson's passing attack. Their QB is deadly accurate. Plus, the Dawgs are better at stopping the run! Good luck Dawgs, all the ingredients are in place for a W. Play your hearts out!!

[/quote] Really its not about that, more so in that i don't think you've played a really quality opponent yet. If you beat Dawson 3-0 i'll be just as impressed as if you beat them 42-28, because i think highly of Dawson. [/quote] Of course you are more impressed with Vidor and Ozen, I'm especially impressed with Ozen. The reason they played 2 great teams is because they finished 4th in 20-4A, and the reason Nederland is playing GCM and Stratford is because we won 20-4A. Making the playoff journey slightly easier is one of the perks of winning district. That's why we haven't played that high quality of an opponent until we play Dawson this week. Anyways, keep it rolling SE Texas!! Looking forward to seeing a Vidor/Nederland & Ozen/Dayton match-ups in the quarterfinals!! That would be a great Christmas present!  8)

Seems like the solution for Nederland is to pound the rock on the ground and keep Dawson's offense on the sideline for as long as possible. Their QB has one hell of an arm, looks to be very accurate, and tough to bring down when on the move. It also looks like their receivers are pretty athletic. I believe if Nederland can cut down on the mistakes and turnovers from last week, this will be a good game. If not, it has potential to get ugly quickly.

Who ya got? Looks like Dawson handled their opponent last night fairly easily, but as Ozen just showcased, anything can happen. If anyone finds out location/date/time post it please!
