I dont mean this post to degrade district 23 because I believe EC has a good chance against Woodville, but I believe this second round, that is basically another first round game is giving Newton and Kirbyville another week to relax before the games get tough.  If I were in the other districts I would definitely be jealous.

This wont be a game, even if Newton passes every down.

Hopefully they get both of them back because I think they are a 10 times better squad with the incredible talent of those two guys.

YES district 22 is still much stronger because every team besides Newton and Kirbyville are pretty evenly matched and so it is a dogfight for the third spot.  Oh by the way Hemphill and San Augustine were prime 2A contenders before the numbers went up.  San Augustine even won state recently.

Kirbyville by a bunch.  I think this is their year.  They may not have the offense of last year, but their defense is much improved.  And defense wins championships!
