Hear Hear thanks to all that came out and got a look first hand at our team.... This team has been up against the wall all year long.... each week we hear how we can't handle their teams offense and how their defense is going to shut Vidor down.... and all year long Vidor has been proving them wrong.... You can not believe the pride I have when I get on here and see doubters becoming believers after they have seen this team with their own eyes and see how much this team plays with heart, determination and true grit!!! I have lived in Vidor for most of life and I can say hands down this team plays as a unit better than any team i have seen before.... But the proudest thing i can say is that this team and fans has changed the way Vidor is seen on a broad spectrum.... I want to thank each and every one who came to the game last night that was not a PIRATE and supported us.... the ones I seen were PN-G, Nederland, LC-M, Dayton, Ozen, WB, and Central.... I know there were probably more but these were just the ones I seen or talked to.... I tried to thank each one as they passed me on the walk way.... It makes be a Vidorian very special in my eyes when people will actually get out and meet the people of Vidor and understand the cloud that hovers over our town isn't the actual spirit of our town.... again THANK YOU for seeing us with open eyes and open hearts!!!!!! RIP #28 I LOVE YOU NEPHEW!!!!!!!!

Vidor's defense is what was most impressive.  They didn't back down nor was intimidated by the twin's speed (and boy, those twins can flat out fly). They made good tackles (for the most part as the twins broke free on some long plays) and took excellent angles to make the tackle on much faster and quicker players.  This is the aspect of the game that made me pick Vidor in this game.  #23 was a tackling machine as usual.  Very deceptive speed as most of the starting Vidor defense.  They withstood Crosby surges and played bend don't break football, until late in the 4th.  Then they went and got that QB!  It was a pleasure and worth my admission last night to see these pirates again. (This is the 3rd Vidor game this year for me).  Makes me proud to be a fan that's part of the most pationate district in the state of texas.  Sail on, Pirates.  Sail on! [/quote] I think you are referring to #3 when he ran over #14 on the sidelines.... took him off his feet.... that was Bryce Cooper after the interception.... he tip toed down the side line then lowered the shoulder and gave #14 a lesson on how to land after being bull dozed by a 150 lb DB....

Thanks to all who have served, died, serving and will serve to protect this great country, what it stands for, and the people that make it worth living in..... Also I would like to thank the ones that live back home while those who are serving are gone. They to make sacrifices, worry, and go to sleep at night wondering if their loved one will make it through the night in certain parts of the world. My heart, prayers and thoughts go out to all of the families for their great sacrifice. My father ,R.I.P. Charles Comeaux, was a Vet from the Korean war. He was a 82nd Airborne paratrooper. I talked with Nederland, PN-G, LC-M and Ozen fans at the game and thanked them for coming tonight and supporting us.... I think there is a group of us going tomorrow night to support Nederland...

I will say this.... Great game.... not the ending I was looking for but its over and done with.... all the what ifs and buts can be debated all week long the fact remains PNG 22 VIDOR 15... With that said.... both teams are in the playoffs.... the only thing left is to decide the 4th team WE WILL ALL PULL FOR COME ROUND 1!!! Congrats Indians..... Keep your heads up Pirates......
