It takes a special person to play there!
Montana's an extremely good kid and comes from a Mormon family. He'll do well at BYU. I don't know what we would do without the Mormon congregation; we get a lot of our athletes out of that church.
I Was referencing the suspension of BYU basketball player for the offense. If your saying he's in capable of having sex i mean that seems a little harsh don't you think? Right but getting suspended for having sex with your girlfriend is a little bit interesting.
Wrong person cougtalk lol. Nice try though.  ::)
5. SC i respect summer creek i do but i expect them to be D1 #2 and that means they play one of the Beaumont schools or Nederland and its not a dish on summercreek but i think the dogs could handle creek. Just my honest assessment. (although who knows this is all speculative anyways. )
 6. I think PNG has a big resurgence this year and i think the dogs will have a small let down. Those are my predictions. (I've never gone or ever been affiliated with PNG so just don't go there dog fans.)
 7.
The way I see it nothin spectacular will happen in 1 year w/the new for the Coogs.Crosby has had alot of offensive talent for years.Their demise has mostly been on defense any way.The Coogs have let to many teams hang around on the defensive side.As for the new what will be differant, just like Crosby the teams from SS have relied on the big play for years 8) ;)
All i can say is the kids have bought in. And the system should help a lot... used to we'd have either good receivers or good db's it seems now we can have both because we will play very athletic kids both ways. To be fair your statement about sulphur springs relying on the big play is a little bit off. Because they are a passing team that's fine with 5 yards screen passes. The thing your missing is no one prevents sulphur spring from having big plays and thus they get a abd wrap as requiring them to be successful and that's just not the case. Honestly Dayton relies on the big play more than Sulphur springs did because Dayton this past year needed to score more than they ever had needed the scoring before.
 8. not sure i just know i heard that statement from someone i trust on the subject. I know it was the 2008 semi final game (right) and another one in 2006 but i think 2006 wasn't a playoff game so I'm not sure.
 9. Honestly i See all 4 games being really tough in round 1 this year but i think Dayton as always will make it out and one of the other 3 teams will make it out. I'm feeling good about Crosby but the district is really talented and i could see a team like Humble potentially having a good season just because of the talent in that area.
Dunno our coach is 2-0 vs Dayton just saying.
2008 was one when was the other win?
I believe he played you guys in 06 as well but i may be mistaken.
 11. Voice of Reason: 19-4a and 20-4a will split.... this season... this thread is utterly ridiculous.
 12. Lamar is not a D1 Football School to be absolutely correct they are D-1 other sports.... i think all other sports actually.

 15. He Runs a spread system, the system is based off of the read option play. Depending on his QB he does different things. For example with a big QB (Merka) He ran the ball in heavy double Tackle sets so that his best blockers would all be on one side of the line and then he rammed the ball down teams throats with a constant running game. In a smaller situation Aston Walter he ran alot of read option plays with screen passes and short routes, as well he ran a lot of fake read plays so (Fake read triple option, fake read pass, QB Wrap.) With a better passer wide out core 08 with Durran Starks we threw the ball a great deal with some qb runs, but far more passing ebcause he had the better arm. Regardless Flannigan wants to run the ball out of the spread, and will pas the ball when it's needed. he is 100% offensive minded he will give complete control of the defense over to the defensive coordinator.
 16. Honestly consistency  is the only thing that matters which is why Dayton brags so much. Regardless Crosby has been a solid team for many years, never a state contender but a solid program perhaps a coaching change will make us a bit better who knows. Could easily do the opposite as well.

Just pointing it out. In my home state north of I-10 is refereed to as being Yankee. gotta love Louisiana.
Well that explains it.. I used to live there.. notice I said LIVE there not from there... I couldn't wait to get back to Texas
Dayton! Where people from Louisiana can feel smarter ;D
Mate i live in Crosby.... just pointing this out your troll utterly failed.
 18. you need a good defensive coach hirer as well. p.s. Flanigan won't play anyone both ways, which probably makes 5a a better choice for his coaching style. Great man and good offensive minded coach.

 20. I believe when Lee went down to 4a they where supposed to be "beating" us to. GCM and Lee didn't do anything in our district. Just recognize those northern Yankee schools are moving down into our districts not the other way around.
No he coached at Crosby also and a few other spots as well.
He had locker room issues at Crosby so real thugs where on Crosby in those days. Very lax Discipline wise.
