[/quote] Behind: 1.  Kirbyville, who went 10-0 in the regular season and were the district champs of 18-3A.  They went 3 deep in the playoffs, losing to eventual state finalist Coldspring in the 3rd round of the 3A Division II playoffs. 2.  Dayton, who went 7-3 on the regular season and were district champs of 19-4A.  They also went 3 deep in the playoffs, falling to eventual state finalist La Marque in the 3rd round of the 4A Division I playoffs. 3.  West Orange-Stark who went 7-2 on the regular season and were district champs of 21-3A.  They went 2 deep in the playoffs falling to Brookshire Royal, after losing their starting quarterback in the middle of the season. West Brook's 2 district losses were 2 more district losses than these 3 suffered combined. There certainly is a team, though, that has a legit beef with our final poll last year.  Coldspring #5 in our final poll, who advanced to the state championship game in Class 3A, Division II. i agree with 1-8 i think they are ranked exactly where they should be. Livingston should be higher... like 10 or so. as well as kpk and bh i think they should all be in front of Stafford and Humble. (im willing to put them in front of a lot of teams but 2 losses should be lower if not out of the poll. (so closer to Crosby in my opinion) PNG is a tough one, they've won 2 games but lost to the cougars, im not sure i wouldn't have them a hair above the cougars. even thought they won the head to head. im a very big w/l guy myself.

Because beating dayton doesn't get kids scholarships its beating teams in playoffs and being one of those 32/64 teams left so that the scouts go to the game and find new kids that are good enough to play college ball. Now do we want to beat Dayton? Absolutely but it is not the most important goal year to year. p.s. cougar show just leave it alone, football is everything for dayton and it will always be. Let them have their ranting, it's not worth bad mouthing a town, its simple if certain dayton fans want to make blanket statements let them it shows their ignorance. However i know there are some very friendly dayton fans that are passionate, and intelligible. Friogal? where you at? have seen you this year?

Dawson is ranked 10 in the state by DCTF and AP Montgomery is top 15 dctf and honorable mention on ap polls. Livingston. only reason 1 and 2 are their is because i believe the winner of the game wins their respective districts. And the rest will have very tough games that will make or break later in the season.

I'm going to start this, a 4a exclusive poll that ranks 19-4a and 20-4a teams. What i need from you is 1 fan who supports each team in each district. Each sunday you'll recieve a ballot email, that should be returned by monday night. Thing you should know before volunteering... everyones votes will be public record. i will post the results followed by each persons ranking.  this is only ranking 19-4a and 20-4a so if your interested in being a member of the poll email me with the following information. 1) number of game you ahve attended this year/do you plan on making the vast majority of your teams games. 2) your email you would like to recieve your ballot. 3) a little guts. Your votes will matter and will be seen, have to be able to take ridicule. NO ONE is excluded (most hated poster?, most loved?, Admin?) i don't care it will be a very simple calculus to determine who gets the job for each. Also The liberty issue is ridiculous. i'd be ok with central 15 wos out of the poll and liberty at 13/14 that to me would make some sense, if you not impressed with c-town thats fine but wos does NOT deserve to even be discussed as a ranked team no wins = no rank thats pretty simple math.

[/quote] No, I won't be surprised, because I expect to get Montgomery's best shot, as we do with every team, every year.  I know about their 3 stand out players, (HB House, WR Gassaway and WR Peppe) all 3 are great players for the Bears.  Their defense isn't bad either.  They've done a great job reloading, and if any team in our district has a chance of beating us, it's them.  With that being said, I don't think Montgomery has ever beat us.  As for Lamar, a large portion of Lamar's rushing came on a 59 yard TD run.  Without that, they were held to under 200 yards rushing.
