Perhaps your cueing should have waited for both teams to be on the field FYI UIL sanctioned athletic events say the national anthem should not be played until both teams are on the field. The level of Class from Dayton kids is funny when you start seeing how many times your kids were throwing shoves and facemask (that didn't get called), Your coach running up the score late shows 0 class. Your coaches literal message to our coaching staff that they would not shake hands post game is the tell all about your majestic coaches temperament.  O FYI the year he coached at crosby he had 6 separate violations that got HIM FIRED. I luv how the lack of facilities within your stadium makes us CLASSLESS? how bout learning hospitality?

The Broncos Defense won the game however the refs definitely helped that offense. Like to point one thing about the Jakari play. 1) it was called a face mask not a horsecollar and 2) it was called by a ref 45 yards from the play looking at the face of Jakari (i.e. could only see the player fall backwards not the actual grasping point, not by the ref standing right next to the play. And as someone stated previously it wasn't a horse collar, i thought maybe when he tackled high he grabbed the mask, the idea that this play was in any way "dirty" is pathetic its a football game things happen. Whining about the game hardly, it solidified two things for me 1) Crosby's Offense isn't that good because of a lack of legitimate running threat and the RB positions and 2) Stewart has 0 class. To be fair Dayton did block well, minus the few blatant holds that weren't called, but hay their were 0 holds called on the cougs so lets assume it was evenly called. However on both of the big 40 yard runs the inside guard grabbed the defenders and fell to the ground (a hold by any standard). You scored 2x garbage time tds on long run plays against a tired defense, hope that makes you think ur offense is good. minus garbage time its 28-3 regardless of what youd like to argue i'd argue our victory last year was far more impressive, ill take 28 (35 minus inadvertent whistle on a pick 6) -0 is more impressive than tonights showing, congrats to the Broncos, don't expect to go very far in the playoffs if thats your best game. As soon as you meet a shutdown defense its gameover.

WITH a BH victory the cougs are in the playoffs aswell... just fyi.

Dayton's biggest issue will be if they let the cougs score early and then give the ball back somehow... because if the cougs have the ball with a lead this game won't break 21 pts because that clock won't stop moving. (like last year went up 14-0 then clock never stopped moving)

Good Forum George. Objectively speaking. DAYTON is dangerous. Yalls defense has been very good, and Crosby's defense is INCONSISTENT, not bad some games you'd say Crosby has a great defense, others you'd question what the kids are doing. Objectively, what happens if Dayton has trouble running the ball? are they going to throw that bubble screen 10+ times? Injuries wise the COUGS should be ready to go, however if they don't want to tackle like the GCM game or don't show up in second half PNG/Montgomery. However the Defense isn't great and as someone who understands football pretty well im sure 8 men will be in or around the box all night. From what i've heard Dayton really doesn't run a PA pass very often that could hurt the cougs this weekend. Offensively i think the cougs will score 28-35 pts, just because they will have the ball and if they get up early it may be a very fast game. Im sure the cougs get a lead it'll be run run run run. once they pass the 50 it'll be 4 down country with the occasional seem route to keep the linebacker honest. GCM game i honestly believe was an oversight, the cougs seem to think they can just turn the gears on and off instead of playing a full game, i don't think its gonna be a problem anymore as the quality of opponents is going to be rather good BH/DAYTON/PLAYOFFS to 7 Mary thats how the cougs play every game period, thats how they are taught to tackle stand up and strip, the Broncos better have stickem ready for this game (not really as its illegal) as per not wanting to be merka, perhaps but i wouldn't want to be a dayton linebacker either, as their will be some crazy collisions this game, Merka's been known to hit a linebacker and make the linebacker fall down, sorry to say it but 6'5 4.5 speed and 225 pounds can generate a lot of force. So in conclusion I think Defense vs offense is a better question than comparing defenses, last year DAYTON  had a much better defense than crosby did and i'd argue a better one than they have this year, however the matchupo between bruising running/and a good defense but not a BIG defense is an interesting dynamic, also if the Broncos can't throw the ball consistently then they might be in trouble offensively. I DONT SEE dayton putting 50 on the board, i see this game ending in the 28-35 pt range and then if the cougs can stay with the broncos is should be a good game.
