1. First video should be titled "why coaches squib the kick"
 2. Sorry maybe somethings changed but some of the stuff i've seen about Dayton was they ahd trouble with GP's DE's, they had trouble with blitz packages against their early opponents. HAVE NOT SEEN them but how are they the best line... for example if GP's DE's really gave Dayton trouble the Crosby's oline must be better as they really didn't give us any.
Went to practice today,no JD but he's ok just a little bruised and a sm.cut over his rt. eye as I saw him and spoke w/him @ Thrif-Tee in Dayton later. He will play some in the Crosby game but prolly none this week vs.NF.
he have stitches? because that might be why they don't want him to play. helmet + stitches = bad idea. Dayton shouldn't need him against NF, however itll be interesting to see how the offense clicks. i expect it to be mroe like 38/35-0 instead of the normal 50-7/0

GP has two REALLY good receivers.  The BH secondary will need to bring a lunch on this one.  The BH offense should work to limit the GP offense by chewing up some clock.  Conditioning will be key as BH has not faced an offense tgat gets going as quickly as this one.  The pace of the GP offense will also make it difficult for BH to make defensive substitutions or adjustments. Pulling for the Hill on this one, but GP might have a little too much on offense. THIFR
I was most impressed by GP's defensive ends and their running back.  They do have one very good receiver, bu the QB is a long-shot.  He plays with poor judgement and if the DB's or Linebackers are watching at all, should pick him off 4 or 5 times.  He throws hard, so you have to be watching.
Um i agree and disagree. maybe it was against us but that kid threw some very good deep balls to hit his receivers. DE's were good but couldn't handle the cougar blocking scheme... oddly they had 2 big plays the whole game and they were the first coug play and the first second half coug play. they prolly changed it up a little bit far more outside passes this game, and far more deep balls. very few were over the middle (minus the two picks. However their were like 3-4 balls that bounced off the FS's hands.
 6. Just going to point out couple things.. being good in space and good at hitting holes are 2 different things. Hope you guys figure it out fast because we want daytons best shot... so when we win their won't be any excuses. Herrea is going to have to do far mroe for your team than hes doing now, and thats gonna mean more chances for other defenses to make plays against you. great running backs allow for 2 things 1) Control the game late (3rd, 4th when you put finishing touches on teams) 2) Keep you from needing to pass on third down. (statistically when most interceptions occur 1st and 3rd down... a RB is vital to prevent that. Also some other things to realize, if you can't run the ball consistently (not saying you can't just pointing out an if) your defense isn't going to look as good. The cougs are tell tells of this, we've made a bunch of changes on defense that have helped alot, the game against GP we had an issue with scoring TOO fast and thus our defense was on the field a long time. They played well in the first quarter, then struggled in the second and thrid, a big drive that took like 4-6 mins then they were rested and came out and won the game. Defenses always are better and look better when they are on the field very little. I believe Shannahan used to say, your defense always looks good 3 plays at a time. =P. Dunno just a view outside of the cloister.
 7. Nah moderator told me if i cant say something nice don't talk to morons. =P.

 11. By Steve Bennish Updated 10:21 AM Saturday, October 16, 2010 DAYTON — Moraine Mayor Bob Rosencrans was killed last night in an accident on South Gettysburg Avenue, said Randy Brannon, an investigator with the Montgomery County's coroner's office. Dayton Police Sgt. Steven Clark said witnesses told police that one of the vehicles in the wreck was seen racing with another vehicle just before the collision that left the smashed vehicles near Derbyshire Drive. A vehicle attempting to enter a U.S. 35 entrance ramp was struck by one of the racing vehicle. The driver of that vehicle, the only one in the car, was dead at the scene, Clark said. A baby was found strapped into a child seat in the other vehicle, Clark said. The baby was listed in serious condition Friday night, police said. Of the two others in the vehicle, one was listed in serious condition and the other in non-life threatening condition. The accident happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. Gettysburg Avenue was closed in both directions for most of the night. Southwestern College nursing student Frances White, 25, said she came upon the scene shortly after the wreck with fellow student Kenetha Kirk. The wreck trapped everyone involved in their vehicles, White said. White said a man trapped in one of the cars begged her to remove the baby to safety, which she did. Another passerby showed up with a fire extinguisher and prevented the car from catching fire before police and fire crews arrived, she said. Who was in the other car? I feel bad for their family.

 14. HAHAHA yes we've won Cap rock. We got all the small children coming out of the woodworks. now we shall commence the silent treatment. heard of blackouts.... heres what it looks like.

I wouldn't use the word pain when talking about Crosby. Crosby came out and punched Dayton right in the mouth last year. Get ready for more. 8) I'm glad you brought up pain. Thanks for reminding us. Crosby loves delivering the pain. I remember Crosby bringing the wood all night long last year. We're getting ready to open up another can.
Okay, seriously I hate people like you. Yalll win one game and get big headed about it. We have killed yall so many years in a row and you don't see us bragging and dancing on the field after we win. Congrats on the win, it was a good game. We took the "L" and kept playing football. It's time to let last year go and worry about this year.
Tell it to ur broncos who want to talk about a little more than the past year... you reep what you sow and Broncos has shat a lot and its your turn to deal with the crap

Victory formation and victory dance have occurred. Hold up who said we wouldn't score 50? i have some crow for you Purpleforever.
You might have scored 50 but yall gave up over 40. If Galena Park can put over 40 on yall, no limit to what the Broncos can do. Congrats on the victory.  Lots of offense.  October 29 is quickly approaching.
It's easy to look at a score and jump to conclusions. GP only scored in the 20s on Dayton but they  gained more yards on the Broncos than Crosby.  What did they throw, 5 picks in one half? That will keep a team from scoring. I don't know, I think we just need to let Oct 29th get here and let it be settled on the field. You obviously want the trophy back, and Crosby wants to keep it. You can make assumptions based on all sorts of factors, but if the Cougars play well, they will be hard to stop. #8 is a stud. Furthermore, everyone knows that Dayton is playing well and has lots of talent. It should be a good game.
Sounds like our defense is alright.

 20. Ponies talk alot of trash lets see if you can hold on to the football when zane or #7 hits you.... Seems like when you play teams that hit hard you like to cough up the football. Not to mention that 80% completion rating is gonna be about 15 and you'll prolly throw 4-5 picks. =P PLEASE NO RAIN SO THEY'LL throw the ball and make this easy on our defense.=P
