1. bleieve we won 2 titles in b-ball in the 70's and in the 40's we went as far as we could as a football team at the team regional champ was as good as it got.
 2. Daytons got a top notch defense no doubt, but its all about matchups in the great game of football. I think overall last year Dayton prolly had a more talented team than Brenham however brenham was disciplined and stopped the big play and dayton eventually allowed turnovers and gave a very efficient Brenham team a chance to win and they did. =P all about matchups and tbh ill take our matchup vs Galena park in some betting odds. For those who think Crosby can't score 35 i say phewy we just scored 28 in a half. =P
 3. I think they'll get worn down, especially having to help tackle Merka all night. and is thier linebacker core ready to take on a 6'5 225+ running back (merka) Not sure, They're quick to the ball though, and this will be key, cause they'll be in trouble if Merka gets a full head of steam.
i think Crosby pulls away late in this one.
LB's can be quick thats cool, Merka has 4.5 speed hes perty quick too. =P
 4. Three games previous to Crosby last year. DAYTON 35-0 over North Forest DAYTON 48-14 over GCM DAYTON 48-12 over Kingwood PARK yardage totals RUSH 348 + 151 + 236 PASS 86 + 132 + 80 Your passing game is better but your rushing games not even close to as good. also you were scoring near as many pts last year at this time. fyi Dayton 56 Galena Park 26 that was yalls galena park score last year. I'll grant you have more balance, i also like to point out that Herrera having an 80% completion rating is probably due to 0 pressure on the QB, Screen plays to those talented WR's and lack of total passes. Iunno but thats normally why has qbs have good completion percentages. Answer: we're not sweating in fact we're not even thinking about Dayton because we play GP this week.
 5.

Isnt this the same Crosby team that let Baytown Lee score 27 on them? What makes you think they can stop the Broncos?  ;)
I  think Crosby has had several players  on the injury list for a while now and by the time they play Dayton most of them will be back so they should be alot more formidable .
We're missing our starting LT right now should be back for GP or Dayton. This game was overconfidence in the first half TBH. Cougs didn't come out to play in the first half and it showed. Second Half Cougs played like they won a district title last year. LEE game our entire d line was out so yeah some issue their.
 6. Bears 21-7 Defense comes up big, one score is on a long touchdown pass because the Bears keep 8-9 in the box all night.
 7.
"It's not how you start, it's how you finish," athletic director and head football coach Jerry Stewart has said time and time again. This team is getting better and better each week. Now someone pointed out on another thread that Dayton had turnovers against Baytown Lee, and that was true, but not from the first team offense. Both the one fumble and one pass interception happened with second teamers in the backfield. Some might say it's because the first team only played most of the first half, but then one can't be sure. The point is the Broncos are improving each week on turnovers. Another large improvement was in only getting penalized three times, especially given the crew that was out there that night. The key is that over the last three games, Dayton has outscored their opponents 165-23, and six of those 23 came off a defensive score, so the Bronco defense has only allowed 17 points in district (the PAT was missed on that score). Some might want to say that this was a result of playing the three weakest teams in the district, however, Galena Park will most likely win out the rest of district, we'll find out plenty quick when they face Crosby. IN any event we'll all know within a week or two just how things will shake out for the playoffs. I'm just wondering how much sweat will be pooring off the brows of 20-4A coaches as they stuggle to see which one winds up having to face Dayton the first game of the playoffs, and facing Galena Park is going to be no picnic either, so let the smack talk begin. Oh, I guess it already has.  ;D
I agree i'd also like to point out no one you've faced yet lay the wood like those first three teams, It'll be a good game when Crosby travels down 90 i assure you, we've been putting some hits on people, and if thats an issue then the Broncos might cough up the pigskin. Iunno just my 2 cents worth.
 8. Well, I agree with Cap Rock as usual who'd a thunk it. Honestly, i think that the Cougs play better in games they are the underdog in. And with all these GP predictions you have to call us the "underdog" i guess. Heres a point id like people to consider, we all know about GP's Offense, but what about thier defense do they have a d line that can pressure Merka?, do they have sure handed CB's?, and is thier linebacker core ready to take on a 6'5 225+ running back (merka) because CE kings defense looked good and then Merka started to get time in the Pocket made some very good passes, and started to run the ball and when he did it was 15-20 every play and 78 on one play. If Crosby gets down in the game look for Merka to be given more freedom in the run game. Honestly its not a defensive issue, the defense is talented NO DOUBTS, the changes the coaching staff has made are very good and our LB core started to work together, and its working kind of like last years LB core. WE also DID NOT GET BEAT DEEP against CE KING and our CB's played well, they did gas us a couple times on running plays but, what can you do they had a huge line, and great holding (i mean blocking).
 9. Yeah i bet you guys are hoping Galena can beat us. =P because you won't =P
 10. Yeah i changed the language to make it G rated, because i think a couple f bombs where actually in the quote.
 11. You wanna crownem then crownem all ready. Danny Green.
 12.
Galena Park will beat Crosby and Dayton will finish Crosby off with a beatdown.  ;) The Bronco offense is moving the ball at will and the defense is very stout and dominant. Go Broncos..........
Dayton game should be fun... and Galena Should be a test. Don't count your eggs before they hatch my mom always said.
 13. Dayton 56-0 and Dayton puts in subs when they get 49-0.
 14. Crosby- I give the game ball to both #7 (OLB) and #42(MLB) for absolutely dominating the Panthers in the second half, they laid the wood tonight and stayed patient. Way to Go BOYS! Leave your game ball for your favorite team or comment on others game balls.
 15.
Where's Smacktalk, I mean cougtalk???? ::)
Where you at i got some Crow for you to eat.
 16.
whats your opinion of CE King  minus the ref's are they a contender ?
They are fast, but disciplined defenses can stop them, i could see them sneaking in to the 4th spot. I could see BH losing to them, and it being Crosby, Dayton, Galena, CE King.
 17.
I left at half time and King was up 28-3.  King has great team speed and theit run defense is pretty good.  The King QB is a goot athlete and is very fast.  Crosby, well, they have a good kicker/QB/corner (yes same guy Merka).  It looks like the same old lazy Crosby effort, for sure.  Sad for a team wit that much talent to either not care or cant come togther as a team.
1) You didn't see that second half 2) Did you see that Penalty that took our td away previous to the halftime 14 pt swings blow. Ok i owe everyone at the Reservation a massive apology, i honestly believed that those games leaned towards you guys, im very sorry because in comparison  to tonights referring job those refs are perfect it was 3-28 at half 18-28 at end of third game ended 31-28 (Fowler missed an xp) The refs more specifically the ref on our side of the field was blatant in his attempts to give CE KING the game. Heres the recap if i can remember it. king scores opening drive 7-0 Crosby kicks field goal 7-3 ce king scores 2x 21-3 Crosby has a TD pass called back on a false start (i personally never saw anyone move, i think they ruled that the linemen werent set because they weren't in a three pt stance (our linemen never get in a three point stance)) Next play a PICK and gets ball to 3, they score again 28-3 Second half Crosby scores opening drive 28-10 Crosby has multiple random penalties get thrown VERY LATE! and end up with 3rd and 15 they convert but the ref on the sideline calls a Holding penalty on Crosby about 10 seconds after our linemen had released their blocks. PUNT Crosby gets ball back and scores on a 60+ yard pass Crosby gets ball back and scores on a Merka 80 yard run. Crosby defense gets every penalty imaginable thrown against them, call an offsetting penalty when a KING player throws a PUNCH (no late hit no nothing) and offset the penalty. Then they call a late hit on the cougs for tackling someone on the sideline to the ground (w/e may have been good call not sure bad angle) eventually its CE KING on the 4-5 yard line They throw a pass in the endzone and its ruled a no catch because a coug and King player had the football together and it eventually ended up on the ground. (the play clock took 1 second off the clock, after a bunch of talking 7 more are taken off), leaves 15 seconds, their QB rolls out gets sacked and the CLOCK STOPS FOR NO REASON WITH 8 Seconds left on the clock, our coaches get irate, and eventually they give king 1 second they try to spike the ball and obviously use the rest of the clock. No DOUBT in my mind Crosby is a far superior team, and that they deserved every second of this win, congrats to those BOY's they overcame tremendous adversity remained positive and won that football game. IVE NEVER SEEN Flanagan as MAD as i saw him tonight. If it had happened to Stewart i think Coach may have had a heart attack, with how angry he would have been. Gray Dog i was at the Game watching it like a good fan.
 18.
If those guys say that the conditions were not an excuse for North Shore losing, then why are they talking about it? If I hadn't looked at who wrote the article (Sam Kahn, Jr. ::)), I would have asked when did KFDMCoop start writing for the Chronicle. ;) I believe North Shore, Sam and all of Houston believe the conditions lost that game for the Mustangs and not that PAM won the game. ::) Something about Mustangs, hmmmmmmmmm........ ;) ;D
Cougs dealing with the same issue with Dayton i feel you.
 19. crosby jv won 44-6 i think and crosby fresh A won 58-7 Crosby fresh B won 30-0 Thank Hitman009 for those i only knew the 58-7 one.
 20. hill 35-21 Don't think you guys can completely stop them think they'll score. maybe im wrong about the hill but doesn't speed kill you guys =P
 21. Well if they arent committed get rid of them. =P Simple enough. You'd be surprised some of the Talent Crosby has seen wasting away over the years.
 22. At a private school, i can understand this, it'd be more like if Katy was a private school and was playing Baytown Christian. especially at college prep schools preventing major injury should be a big concern many of those kids will be going to school in the IVY league, if the parents, players, coaches, and administrators are ok with it then who am i to judge. (couldn't actually see this happen in Texas)
 23.
Better get your licks on King while you can, Coach Wilson will have that program up and going in no time.
Well i agree hes a good coach, I like what Flanagan is doing at Crosby, been a supporter of his for a while, and remain so. I think he's severely underrated as a coach. Also, I'd like to see CE King do something, perhaps this district wouldn't be such a 2 horse race, parody is always good. And yes Crosby is Stacked for the next 3 years. =P. The Frosh a team is 6-0 with a PF-PA of 256-37. so thats averaging 43 pts a game, and they give up 6 pts a game. =P.  ;D
 24.

PNG by 20 k thx bye.
Leave it to Crosby to make a prediction on a game that was already played!  OH, he must have been talking about the PNG whipping of crosby earlier this year...   :o
It was a joke to a friend fyi, thats what he yelled out before the game. =P
 25.
You're really setting yourself up to be shooed out of here. And yes, they lost to Huffman last week. Sorry, what's Crosby's record?
\ 6-0.
