Hum... Crosby Dayton GCM Lee No particular order. someone said losing record amkes playoffs not likely, i forsee a rough year for BH (first years in systems aren't always easy)-NF-CE KING. I honestly could see this be a district where you have one team who wins one game and another that wins 0 (not BH FYI i'm thinking 2-3 wins not trying to be mean) I think the district champ can only lose 1 game, and i bet at the end of the day its gonna be Crosby and Dayton both with 1 loss (in district) and the winner of that game deciding who is the district champion.

So this would be a second round district for 19-4a then correct?

I got a prediction to start the season off with 1's will be Crosby/Dayton 2's will be Lee/GCM I see Lee Losing Both games to C+D but possibly a three way tie between Lee, BH, GCM with points going to Lee and GCM. Sorry Bh but thats where my mind rest right now.

ON that awesome predistrict schedule for the Cougs, we can either come out of that limping or with a ton of Confidence, either way, its gonna be Crosby and Dayton deciding another championship in the 19-4a? ooo we got our number back lol. So just wondering Did Lee lose alot of talent because of GCM? because they used to be very good every year but sicne GCM came to be they haven't been very good. And one thing everyone has to look forward too welcoming Lee to THE 19-4a, not like those other weaker 4a districts =P (i know i ahd to throw the jab in sorry Nederland/PNG/Central/Vidor/EtC. )

GL atleast now it'll be a good game seems like for the past few years you've guys have been in the cougs heads, atleast this game won't have that, it'll be a Cougars team whos not scared and ready to play, vs a pissed off Broncos teamwhos ahd to hear this all year 28-0!

I think the last sentence was directed at Flanagan? if so hes not running infact unofficially he simply added a better team than vidor to play, Dawson, and Motgomery are better teams. ok we have more coming back than you think. Forrest Tyler will probably play RB (he did his sophmore year) and we have a 6ft 5' WR coming back according to the Roster kid named Ashton Martin. WR's on Varsity who are returning Ashton Martin Forrest Tyler Jacoby Scott MJ MAthis We do have only 2 Varsity linemen coming back DEFENSE LOSES THESE PLAYERS All but 1 LB i believe OUR D Line rotations and 1 DB but we have alot of kids who are gonna be ready to play. If everyone remembers we weren't supposed to be great last year.

Nah no rebuilding buddy just reloading. If the line holds up (we've traditionally had good lines) we will do fine, we still have a huge playmaker at QB.

Ok, First this is an issue with certian school board members. NOT our superintendent. Mr. Joesph is the farthest thing from a bigot i've ever seen, an extremely gracious man and a great leader of our school. Second, was not thier when this decision was made, i've had my own dislikes of certian school board members, and yes perhapsthey are still living in the 60's, but what can our Superintendent or Coaches do about this? Nothing. Many people who got to see Merka play on a game to game Basis understand something you probably don't, in our eyes hes not the MVP because of statistics, hes the MVP because when it was Crunch time he wanted the ball and he almost always delivered (minus an almost impossible 4th an 13 against dawson, fake punt) His stats are good aswell, even with the more yard we had a QB get 7+ YPC, is he the MVP i personally don't think so but Offensive MVP most definitely. PLOCH is my opponion wins the MVP because of his BOTH way preformances good QB play, WR play, RB play, and CB play. As for thinking next year is in the bags for you, id teach my kids how to hold on to the ball before i start talking smack. Also i hope your CB's are all playton Ploch next year because you'll need 8 in the box to stop the Crosby Run game and Im sure that Merka will develop the passing game alot mroe, and our recievers are for the most part juniors. Good luck next year, regardless of the Crosby-Dayton game i hope that its the deciding factor once again in the district championship. As for everyone talking about the pass 9 years Dayton ahs dominated the entire district for about 10 years so anyone other than a DAYTON fan should shut thier CPU down and let the real teas in this district talk.

We had a WR QB Combo in 02? one went to Lousiana Tech the other somewhere else, if i remember right we lsot that game but we made that dayton defense look silly (to bad we didn't have a defense. We had a guy go to UTEP aswell. as for Baylor not counting... Your an idiot. also the reference of "crosby as the Baylor of this area" thier are several problems with this analogy, 1 we've won two district titles in three years. 2) we beat Dayton so get over yourselves... as for BH and GCM beat us before you say anything. In fact BH seems to eb the Baylor of the area... you know exceeding in everything that doesn't matter... Also GCM your to young to even sniff what a rivalry is. Statistics are one thing, beating us next year something completely different... when Dayton can stop Merka let me know... another year older another year bigger and another year of playing QB for the COugars... That Defense is fast, and was fast in that game, they didn't tackle aswell, but i'm not going to listen to BS about how they're slow... thats simply a fallacy. Crosby was the faster of the two teams and pearland was the bigger, the defense was fast but thier size negated that by good lead blocking. Watch the game then post your simply wrong.

Ok I need a speed report a true one... because im trying to make an informed decision. This is gonna sound funny but because of realitive size equality, i'll go with Brenham if thier fast, Honestly from what ive seen of Brenham they remind me of Dayton.... no seriously, kinda wierd but they look alot alike, i.e. VERY GOOD DEFENSES, and GOOD individual preformers who play both ways. Key to the Game Keeping Ploch, and Franks Fresh for the offense. No lie I'd Be scared of a Ploch, Franks read option.

Saw the score att the crosby game early, said to my ma they ain't out of it yet. =Pguess i was right.

[/quote] Congrats im conceding your point but i would like to point out that the Coogs wanted Vidor more than Nederland in the first round and Motgomery is a much better team than Waller (granted u blew out waller). Those Dawson boys were darn good and i think the mighty broncos may of had just as hard of a time with them as our coogs, but never the less you amde it one more round so congrats, i guess we will just ahve to give you another butt whooping next year =P

Im attributing our Loss to our opponents size... but great game it was simple the Eagles just were bigger, and had lead blocks everywhere, they did a great job of negating the speed of the cougars. The Offense did well this game wish they woulda got that ball back but that 4th down conversion was killer. dawson had 5 drives, (minus one that the 2nd quarter went out on, and the fourth quarter ending drive) and scored 4 TDS, crosby ahd the ball 6 drives and scored 3. If my offense scores 50% of the time i expect to win, but not in this case. FYI we may need to see if this was the quickest game in school history i swear it lasted less than 2 hrs.
