One thing im interested in seeing is how our defense looks because Nederland seemed to be sitting in a zone all night versus TC and Crosby tends to play 1-1 on the outside with mixed zone in the middle of field. I'm insterested in how this works. TC might very well murder us with the little RB flats stuff they like to do off roll outs tho, be weary of that.

Lol, using point differential to break two unbeaten district teams is funny weak 4 of district. Let us play Santa Fe I bet that point differential turns around.

Weird? I didn't make an excuse seems you need to make them for Carthage. We win that game if coaches make the correct decision to bring the back-up instead of paying him on JV and/or we stop a kick return for a TD. That's execution and decision making mistakes that I'm glad they've so far fixed this season. Carthage looks very different today than when we played them, we also look very different today than when we played them. We aren't overthrowing receivers by 20 yards nearly as much that's a huge help. BH gave us a scare but we scored 20 straight points to win that one, everyone needs that game to be a sign of reversion I just think we got BH's best shot.

yea maxpreps says the Carthage missing half their starters thing was untrue but whatever floats your boat.

Yes if any team was better than they are the could be leading the league. If Nederland had a QB they could be leading the district. They don't, BH doesn't have a good defense. You are what you are.

I bet it's a hell of a lot closer state finals.

Don't forget Kirkwood that kid looks virtually unguardable. He's has several d1 prospects line up across from him and so far he's been a beast.

In 5AD2 we don't know yet. This weekend could determine the 1 and 2 seeds.

Aledo almost lost to Lovejoy it took a 28 point 4th quarter for them to win that game. I think everyone has an escape game or two to make the state finals. Aledo was a much better team than Lovejoy but Lovejoy played an incredible game. I think Crosby saw peak BH and managed to get out of it with a win.

Same result for the Hill.

We have a consistent history of scoring on very good defenses.

Don't sleep on Foster taking out Manvel this week. Manvel is soooo one dimensional this year.

PNG really showed something last week they are hungry for that playoff spot, this should be a cake walk.

All ribbing aside, Nederland should win this one comfortably. Dayton does have a pretty good receiver but I suspect he will be getting special treatment. Also, Dayton's defense isn't good enough to stop the Nederland run game even if it's not as good as past years.

I think Crosby comes out ready for war in this one after what they just did to Nederland and is simply waay too much for TC. 49-21 Crosby.

The two dirtiest teams in the district fight it out. I predict 20 15 yard penalties.

Cougars and TC trade some TD’s in this one but if Nederland just showed the blueprint to stopping TC the. The Crosby offense is going to be light years better than anything TC has seen this year. crosby has shown some weakness versus the run against Manvel and BH this has to be fixed to beat TC.

yea but we went from a good offense, to nearly unstoppable offense. Something else is going on beyond just skill position issues. I think you should play Fuselier at Running back however never seen him throw maybe he could play QB. Dunn and Branch had both played QB for a varsity team before we switched them.
