It seemed like we did not have a backup QB. I do not know why that's the case but they put a wide receiver in at QB that i've never seen play QB. Also, if your medical staff is sure it's just cramps then I don't think the risk of injury is particularly high. I also, noticed we said similar things last year, Prieto seems to treat pre-district as a pre-season not the reason we lost that would be not scoring on 5 turnovers, however this wasn't a throw the sink at them moment either. I'm sure Carthage was pretty vanilla as well. That TE play is hard to stop if they don't stop themselves.

I don't think we can hang with Manvel this year. I didn't see enough from that o-line to make me believe we will have space to operate. I'd like to be proven wrong, but I feel we stick close until second half when depth breaks the defense for being on the field too much.

Hmm, the fact we broke 100 yards rushing feels weird to. Maybe I'm just not paying attention to the 5-10 yard plays that added up over time.

He had blocks to the opposing 45 to make that play, i hope the special teams coach got a free beer out of it at very least.

He was a fast player for sure but that run back was like 20% speed 80% excellent seal blocks and special teams design.

Wasn't his speed it was a great play and great blocking. No clue why yall are trying to pretend it was "just speed"
