If they had left the starting pitcher in the game, not sure that Brook has the hitters to come back. You guys should do fine and battle for a top 3 spot. Ned looks real good, but everyone else has some weakness. Of course, I haven't seen Livingstone or Central, but I am guessing that you guys will be up there with them as well. Good luck, Pirates!
When did you see LCM swing it in game time situation? We only played brook in a scrimmage, which doesn't give an accurate reading on what our players can do.
It was just an opinion based on what I saw over a 14 inning scrimmage. maybe it was just a bad day for LCM. maybe they weren't trying to hit the ball because it wasn't a "game time situation". i don't know. Just responding to the question from the Pirate fan. Good luck, LCM.
I understand that i just don't think scrimmages are a good place to measure the strength of a team. Lots of players are getting thrown into the line up and tons of pitchers are throwing for only minimum innings. Just my opinion though. We will see. I wasn't bashing you, just defending my Bears.
Lol. Ya, a lot of German & Polish blood out this way. I'm German myself and I struggle with some of the names. (This year especially, cuz we lost a lot, so I'm having to learn a bunch of new names) We didn't play bad, considering we are starting 2 freshman. We used 4 pitchers to see exactly what we had. Out of the 4, 3 pitched great. The one guy that pitched bad and had an off night, walked a couple guys and left a pitch hanging over the plate, which was crushed and was about a foot away from being a grand slam. All and all, we played pretty good. Cinco Ranch looked good also. IMO, it was one of those games where we looked a little better than they did overall, but we still lost.
How many seniors did y'all graduate??
8. Couple big names though.... OU- Drake Roberts A&M- Chance Bolcerek, Ty Schlottmann Angelina- Colton Walla

BrenhamFan, y'alls ball club always seems to have less than common last names on your team, i bet that makes it challenging for the opposing teams announcer. Texas A&M Aggie Baseball 2012 (41-14, 16-8)

I went to game one of the series on Friday, A&M's pitching staff was picking up right where they left off. Childress even played a little small ball. I like what i saw, i don't know what it looks like though, Illinois Chicago didn't look like much of a team to measure against. -
I guess this may be a question for someone who knows the rules a little better, but what would happen if a backboard breaks during an actual game?
