[/quote] I understand that i just don't think scrimmages are a good place to measure the strength of a team. Lots of players are getting thrown into the line up and tons of pitchers are throwing for only minimum innings. Just my opinion though. We will see. I wasn't bashing you, just defending my Bears.

Sounds like the four seeds showed up to play tonight, LCM gave Crosby some trouble and Dayton gave Nederland a lot of trouble.

LCM fell apart in the fourth making only 2 FG all other points came off of fouls. Crosby wins 48-40. Not a bad showing for the Bears.

Crosby up by 5 with 2:00 left to go

36-33 Crosby with under 5 left..

Tied at 30 going into the 4th

LCM takes there first lead of the game 26-24,

LCM ties it at 24

Crosby is missing a lot of easy shots.. costly

Crosby leading 21-17 at half..

(This year especially, cuz we lost a lot, so I'm having to learn a bunch of new names) We didn't play bad, considering we are starting 2 freshman.  We used 4 pitchers to see exactly what we had.  Out of the 4, 3 pitched great.  The one guy that pitched bad and had an off night, walked a couple guys and left a pitch hanging over the plate, which was crushed and was about a foot away from being a grand slam.  All and all, we played pretty good.  Cinco Ranch looked good also.  IMO, it was one of those games where we looked a little better than they did overall, but we still lost. You have Nov. in for the months for this weeks games for LCM

I went to game one of the series on Friday, A&M's pitching staff was picking up right where they left off. Childress even played a little small ball. I like what i saw, i don't know what it looks like though, Illinois Chicago didn't look like much of a team to measure against.

I guess this may be a question for someone who knows the rules a little better, but what would happen if a backboard breaks during an actual game?
