Now I already said the opponent was part of it, so do not start the bashing about oh not giving us credit.

Well coached team, great gameplan. I predicted we would win by 14 and was wrong. My keys were keeping the pressure of the qb, we did not, he got sacked 5 times at least. Db's did a great job covering. I did not say much about our defense because we were not sure, but you found the weakness - pound the ball between the tackles. Our coaches were outcoached in every aspect. Congrats.

Boys are focused, know who the big playmakers are, know they are fast and we have to contain, line knows we need time! Will it happen??? See yall there!

There were alot of mistakes in several of our games, not always the prettiest football to watch!!

I watched that piece and this is very very iffy to be making so many waves. I am not saying no one crosses that line, but wow! And I do not like SLC, but this is over the edge. They were saying the same things the parents say during our 7 on 7 games!!

[/quote] Thanks - one of my sons best friends. When Karam left, everybody was all distraught. I told everyone who would listen, Maetzold will be very very good. In veiled terms I said - he is much better than Karam. Karam was a solid HS qb, but Peter shows the patience, calmness and pocket prescence that few HS qb's show. His recruiting will pick up as the season progresses. TCU ,UH, RIce, or SMU should grab him now!! He is much better than the Lamar kid we scrimmaged who has committed to UH! In addition, great kid 4.0 student, very high SAT scores. But - he is not invincible, just giving you some background.

In my mind if the FW Oline keeps the pressure of Maetzold, we will be able to do some damage passing. If not the WOS DB's will lock us down. On the other side - our dline has the get penetration and we have to hold the edges! Will be fun.

[/quote] I will be happy with a 1 point win, and you are very very correct, Friendswood is beatable. We will not go undefeated in the regular season, probably 8-2 or 7-3. We will deal with those losses just fine!! We are not Lake Travis and know it!! But you never think the game you are getting ready to play will be one of those losses!! Seriously, my son said that WOS is impressive on the game film and we will have to play well. The team respects the talent and will not take them lightly, nor do I.  I still feel we will win by 14, but I also thought we would beat Dawson last year in the regional finals. And it is almost college football season!! Is the 5'5" running back one of the track team members?? He is quick.
