FW scored on every possession against Galveston Ball last year in our scrimmage, and look how well Ball ended up doing! We will only know after the game. But I will be back to talk to Gasilla!!

Not seeing FW Left Tackle Ben Compton or QB Peter Maetzold is also an oversight. Remember those two names. Peter clearly outshone the UH committ from Houston Lamar in our scrimmage.

We are all biased towards our own district. This opinion is from an impartial observer of Tx football. Carries some weight and remember, he is not talking about state titles - he is talking about total depth of the district - every team is capable of doing quite a bit of damage, even the cellar dweller Santa Fe.

Friendswood 1- Houston Lamar 0. Both offenses looked rusty. FW played more folks longer than Lamar. The UH committ at Left Tackle for Lamar is a real attitude. Started two fights away from the play and got sat down by the refs and coaches for a while! Minor ankle twists and bruises for both teams. FW had 2 kids who were supposed to start out, but the next guys looked fine!
