But give PNG credit, they fought back. Lost two starting corners in one game, in the first half, and played a strong 2nd half. They did not quit. Great game and great season for PNG.

I was hoping there was some way Dayton could be Division 1, but no way with their numbers from 2008 being 1350 ish. Would love to have seen them play Lake Travis - love to have seen that!! Talk about basketball dribbling. Back to the topic at hand - good luck to all this weekend, no one gets hurt and our Regional teams get ready to win state, whoever that rep is!!

I could easily react to you the same way others have jumped peoples cases. We come to this board because we love football. FW has made it to the state Finals once and won. PNG has won 3 titles and been in the finals 6 times,  3 times as Port Neches and 3 times as PNG, no one is arguing about that. Program with a lot of historical success. We have a pretty good team this year, but we are not claiming we are going to win state and that we can beat Lake Travis! We are proud of our team. There is a lively debate about how strong the different districts are and that has stirred up some energy! No one can argue PNG travels well, not sure why we are splitting hairs about how many people will travel! Good luck to both teams.

The only thing wrong with your scouting report is that the Cub d-line is not big except for Malcolm Brown, a 6'3" 275 lb sophomore. The rest of the defense is small, but very quick. Angleton score 3-2 deep into the game. Diggs hobbled and the other horses could not carry the load - I think Dayton and PNG have a good chance to shutdown this offense, I did not before - but things have changed!!

Friday night going to support PNG in their battle versus Brenham at Aldin Thorne. Sounds like it will be grassy knoll seating only, so get there early! Saturday night of course Friendswood vs Wheatley Galena Park stadium - of course get stadium jealousy again!
