I get the playing part. If you play in the JV game you can not play in the varsity game. But there are no restrictions that I can find on just having the JV players, that played in the junior varsity game,  dress out for the varsity game, for recognition purposes, that I can find correct?

We have always done it since I have been close to the program, last 10 years. But the other day some Dad was saying it was not legal and he did not know how we were getting away with it, pointing out that two kids who played JV were not dressed for the varsity as they have in the past. Even though there were two other JV kids dressed out who played JV. Is there any rule? I looked and of course found nothing saying it was wrong. Others thoughts and knowledge?
