LT lost to CP and Aledo - two good teams. They need to play tough pre district games, because that district aint much, LT and CP is all they got - two great teams but the rest....... I said that would be the key to the game and it was, he had all day. Our Dline also responded to the challenge and got tons of penetration. Montgomery had a good year, but they must feel like we did in 2008 when we ran into the LT machine! Just a notch better. Best wished to Montgomery next year, they keep getting better and better! I am confident that FW will give it a go Saturday and hope the results are better than 2008!!!

Well done LM. I know things were tough when the team was under performing earlier in the year, but nice turnaround. Keep it up - we tried to tell everyone we have the toughest district in the state, now 2 regional champs later, we may have convinced some folks. proud of you guys!!

However just have to do some post game perceptions validation!  Montgomery is very one dimensional, we shut down Dobbins and the QB could do nothing, very one dimensional offense. We were able to pressure the QB all night. Their team rushing stats were 60 yards, consider that Dobbins had 114 yards, tackles for loss and sacks accounted for minus 54 yards!! Dobbins is good, but our guy showed he is just as good and more versatile. Our suspect Defense got the job done. Our QB that people can not spell his name is the best in FW history! Our oline is solid!! Hope we can get by LT this time.
