1. You could cut DJ's foot off and let it bleed and he would play saturday and make 3 sacks.
2. Jack, I thought you couldnt read?? 69th in the STATE doesnt do this defense justice. Of couse its from last years stats though. Im betting by mid season we see them somewhere in the mid twenties.
3.
I have verified that PN-G through the rating system that is Massey's is ranked 69 in the State of TEXAS not the nation  on defense.
4. beaumont central above both png and pa memorial?? pretty decent list besides that.
5. Massey Ratings preditions- PNG 28 GP 16 a friend of mine told me earlier also that Massey has PNG's defense ranked at 69th in the nation 1a-5a schools. not sure how true that is..i couldnt figure out how to use the ratings system so i'll neither confirm or deny that...just saying thats what i was told..could be wrong though??
6. If im not mistaken earler in this thread someone said it was 1-0 in the game situation part of the scrimmage. Thats what most people go by when judging scrimmages. It is funny because now we all know that LCM people or not only sorry at football but also at math. So what was it? Ive seen about 5 different people say about 5 different things when it comes to the scoring at the LCM scrimmage. Im begining to wonder if LCM even scrimmaged at all?? Maybe we have ourselves a lil conspiracy working here.
7.
Yeah, finishing the game situation with Brazosport having a score and LCM having NOTHING..sounds like a pretty dominating game for the cubbies. On the lossing end of 1-0, thats dominating? Yep, I think you guys are going to state.
8. Im tryin to work you guys up, all BS and what if's aside. LCM has a great new coach and some good skilled players. I look for this year to be a big building and learning season for them and like I said, they will hopefully make the playoffs this year maybe even coming in out of the 3 spot in the district behind central and PNG. A couple more years depending on talent they will have a real thing going. Possibly as early as next season. I expect by the end of this season they will be hitting a stride, but Im guessing they hit a few road bumps in the first half of the season. On the other hand, boo if ya want to, BUT PNG has a real thing going right now and will make aleast a third round playoff run and contend at my guess right now about a 20% chance of making a State Final appearence. Hey, it's just my opinion, we are all entitled to one right? I mean at this point thats all we are are all doing is making assumptions based on what little info we have, and this is just mine. Cooligan, being the good sport I am, if Im wrong and LCM wins the district, I'll post a real life picture of myself with a sign stating my real name, phone number and words saying something to the effect of "LCM Rules and Im an Idiot." How's that??
9.
You crack me up Thunder. You need to go ahead and change your name to Thunderllusional. You are definitely out there.  :D
Yeah..I guess blowing out LCM, beating Central, beating Brehnam ( which they almost did last season ) and going out in the semi-finals must sound like science fiction. Especially when ya had a 5th ranked team last year which i dont think anyone sane person on these boards will argue that they wont be even if just a little better than last year? The only thing that keeps that from happening last season is a couple of early blown plays in the brehnam game or adding 45 secs to the clock.. But, I guess this year even with an improved team it's not possible??? I bet your good in math. I'll be the first to tell you. I dont bleed purple, Im no more for PNG than I am for LCM, but I call it like I see it. Most all on this board that isnt a PNG fan , talks down PNG just to talk them down. You can say what ever makes ya feel better and i'll say the truth. PNG is by far the best team in their district and will finish a little better than they did last year. Read it and wheep. LCM will probably contend for a playoff spot being its not unheard of going to the playoffs anymore even with a losing record. But LCM will be one of those charity playoff teams while PNG will be a serious contender.
10. If I remember correctly..if PNG would have had about another 45 seconds on the clock in the brenham game last year you could have very well been looking at a PNG come from behind victory. A loss is a loss but were talking about a team who played one of the state finalist VERY toughly and the fact of the matter is in the second half was a more impressive team than Brehnam. With all of PNG's returners, key newcomers, and another year under the new coaches system, once again...they are going to be a handfull. I mean , come on, if the team makes ANY improvment from last season your talking about a potential state finalist squad. LCM is FAR from that. Not saying they will not grow into that in the future, but not on the same page as PNG at the moment. Halftime - Brehnam 20 PNG - 0 .. Final Brehnam 27 PNG 21 and driving. Lets not forget PNG was ranked 5th in the state when they went out. Like I said improve on that AT ALL and your gonna spell trouble for a lot of teams. Including this years game with LCM= BLOWOUT and I think we will see a Brehnam PNG rematch with PNG's defensive front making the big difference this time around and getting them a victory. Central will play PNG well but im calling another undefeated season of at the very least district play and a possible semi-final run.
11. Im neither a PNG fan or a LCM fan. Im just giving credit where credit is due and calling the game like I see it. It appears that none of you guys have a inkling of an idea how good PNG's defense is going to be. LCM can have all the skilled players they could ever need but it does no good trying to play skilled positions from your back. PNG has the advantage on offense, defense, coaching..word is their reciever corp is going to be better than lat year. Unproven running back who is expected to be just fine and possibly a standout. Defensively alot of starters returning, a few ANIMALS at linebackers and d-line with that Schexnider(spelling??) kid who I hear is pretty much UNBLOCKABLE. Some mid 4 second 40 speed in the secondary and argueably the leading coaching staff in the state. You can throw the skilled players of LCM out the window without proper protection. Are LCM's skilled players really that good anyhow??? Thats the big question. All people are going off of that anyhow are because they had a good result in 7 on 7. You cant judge anything off of 7 on 7..all it is , is an overrated practice. Ive been told by someone who was involved in the 7 on 7 that there was more reasons than LCM being good that caused them to do what they did...i.e. other teams having players not playing etc. Heck the Fannett 8th graders beat PNG boys like 40 to nothing and barely lost in the championship to i think Central or West Brook on 7 on 7. Think that would happen if they strapped it up this year? Well PNG boys was ONLY PN boys no Groves boys and they had only had like 3 practices..pretty much sandlot. The fannet boys if Im not mistaken had practiced quite a bit. Anyhow just proving my point 7 on 7 doesnt mean a thing. Heck, my New Caney boys have about the best "skilled" crew in the region but do you think I believe for a second they will win more than 5 or 6 games? No. At the end of the day PNG blows out LCM...Mark MY Words.
12. I agree with ya about the blowout. People Ive been talkin to are sayin PNG is the real deal this year and will far surpass what they did last year. Im thinkin more along the lines of a 35-0 type of blowout. PNG's defense is gonna be a force to deal with if my "insiders" are correct. Gonna be hell to score on em.
13. I can say but one thing about this.... It shows you how much credit this organization deserves for being recognized in ANY form when it comes to high school sports in the state of Texas. Ford is an absolute no brainer in the state. He is the elite in 2A and among the elite in all divisions regardless of stats. Im willing to bet if you have a group of college scouts come up with the 2A All-State team he would be your man and possibly the 2A MVP. But hey....that would be coming from a group of people who actually knew something about football.
14.

Thankfully, now that Hammerhead has "weighed" in on Central's behalf, it is as good as a lock that Friendswood wins!!!   ;D  Thanks Jackie, I was beginning to fear that we wouldn't hear from you!!
Hey PNG Proud..do ya know him or something? You know ya can get banned on here for calling people things like "obnoxious" or maybe like "idiot' or something...just warning ya. Hahaha Incredible. Do you have to work at being obnoxious?... or is it just a gift?   Because you're REAL good at it.
