My two pennies, a moderator calling a user's mouth a "pie hole" and threatning him in open forum is a bit out of line.     [/quote] bh-2, usually how you have suggested it is how I do it.  However, more and more, instead of showing contrition for failure to follow board rule, my pms were met with indignence and complaints about "selective moderation."  In fact, you have been one of the very few exceptions to the rule.  But let's take the different situations that you put up.  First, you "getting it" when you questioned how the SETXSPORTS rankings votes were obtained.  As I recall there was no exchange there....you had suggested that the staff give information about their geographic info and bias' and I obliged.  That was met with basically "I was only kiddin'." Second, I don't recall PNG1992 getting heat from moderators about his fan poll.  I recall that the heat came from the same place that heat about the staff poll....other posters. And finally the situation yesterday.  Ranger83 made a remark in a thread which targeted a school's graduates as "thugs."  Now, my style of moderation is that if I can edit out a portion of a thread that violates board rules and still preserve the post, I will do that.  I don't like deleting posts...someone put some time and at least some thought into it.  That is what I did with Ranger 83's post...I did not change any words, just deleted the offending portion.  Ranger83, not I, wished to make this public by demanding to know why the thread had been edited.  After I told him why, he DEMANDED that I never edit his posts but delete them outright...such a post would have bought many folks a vacation, I chose to warn him in public. The moral of the story, if you don't want the dirty laundry aired in public, then don't put it in public. [/quote] That is not true.  The moderators are the ones that was mocking the fan rankings.  If my memory serves me correctly AggiesAreWe, Adminbaberuth, Bmtsouja, and your all might KFDMCOOP all had fun mocking the rankings and being disrespectful.  Once again you use lies to justify your actions.

Keep patting yourself on the back.  I think thats a good ideal you can make a list of every football player that came from all your local river bottom schools and went to the next level.  That way in a few weeks you can all sit around the river bank and talk about all the names on the list while your nephuncles are checking the trot lines.  Cause there will be no more football at the 4A level in your area to be played in a few weeks.

And the answer is NO.  Coach Faircloth is using PNG as a stepping stone and might give you two years.  He will move onto bigger and better things.  Yes!  There are bigger and better things in the state even though you South East Texas Homers do not realize it.

They are both down and will both be eliminated in round three.  With maybe one 20 making to round two.

Once again you are putting words in my mouth.  I did not say they was the weakest district in the state.  I said they are down and weak compared to normal and most districts in the state.

Ive tried to discuss this but its hard to talk to a wall. 

I never said 19 4A was a powerhouse.  I said they was weak too. 

Leave the Cowboys alone.  You have enough trouble sounding intelligent about High School Football.

How would you not consider your district weak.  The fact that PNG has dominated everyone shows it is way down.  Just because you beat up on each other does not mean you could compete with most of the 4A in state.  You will see soon.  District 20 4A will all be watching the rest of the state after first week of playoffs.

Obviously it is down alot.  PNG is way overated compared the rest of the state.  Don't think that because you dominated a weak district this year that you deserve the state ranking you receive.  This district will be shut down the first round of the playoffs.

can someone tell my why my post was deleted and why? If you have the authority to delete my post then be a man and admit you did! I deserve to know why it did not violate any site rules other than maybe the number one rule of saying anything negative against the almighty Mustangs

Nice! (P.S. I don't really get the "it's against my 1st amendment rights" line of thought...) I've said it before, if these parents want to coach and think that they can do a better job than the REAL coaches...get your teaching degree, quit your current job and GO BE A COACH! That almost seems tooo simple! This is lame! I never hear a coach complain about getting ridiculed or bashed. The only people that complain are you true huggin do gooders on these sites. Coachs know when they take the job they will be questioned and second guessed and blamed for everything. Its not like its a big surprise and they are getting their feelings hurt. Now im not talking about cussing him out, or making threats to him but if a coach is not getting the job done and has the athletes to do the job, then its okay to tell him he sucks!

Are you making excuses already? At least let them lose before you start coming up with excuses!
