Heard Chris Smith and Larry Sterling from Nederland putting in. Football and baseball are the boys favorite sports there. Basketball has never been well supported and will hurt for good quality coaches wanting to go there. Not a winning program and that is nothing against Coach Abel. He did a fantastic job with what he had to work with.

Don't agree with this one, IMO, Alex is a great player don't get me wrong!! Really thought Kordell David from EC and if Kalon Barnes didn't get hurt, could have been Co-MVP's for District. Both these young men played hard all year and helped their team respectively throughout the District games.

Just watched highlights on 12newsnow.com, apparently Hitchcock would've won if their fans wouldn't have got two technical fouls. What is the scoop on that for someone that was there.

Depends which WOS team shows up. If they show up and play like a TEAM, they win. But if they don't, could be a long night against a good Jasper team. Both are very athletic and well coached. Good Luck to both teams.
