Looking at this game I think Cleveland has the "d" to match up with Liberty, however I dont know if there Offense will move the ball enough to put up the points. Cleveland and Coach Maples needs to win this if Maples wants to much more of a career in Cleveland. I think Cleveland has the talent on Defense to create turnovers and and put points on the board. good luck to both teams and to ever wins have a great playoff run. I hate I am going to miss this one but I am going to be at the barn burner between Coldspring and Huffman.

I don't know what all the hype is about Liberty's offense. I was at the game and watched it. Their qb was big. But that's about it.  Splendora's d looked ok, prob the best they have played all year. Thinking next weeks game with Cleveland liberty my have a struggle. The only hope they my have is clevelands o hasn't been that great. Maples needs to look for Stuckey to runn the ball a bit more.  Jmo

[/quote] Agreed, The kids last week during the Coldspring/Cleveland did a good job keeping the trash talking down till the little fight broke out. I dont blame just the kid from Cleveland. It takes 2 to make those things happen. A week on the bench will help the kids a bit.. I feel that the hole fight stemed from the play before with a late hit on the sidelines from a coldspring player. So if we are going to point a kid out we need to tell the hole story. And for the record it was #20 for Cleveland and #4 for Coldspring

Cs is a great football team and I am looking foward to the last few games to see how great our D will be defending the pass. I think that will tell a bunch on how the playoffs will go. Huffman will play Coldspring hard and and that will be the Hardest game Cs will play. Liberty will not be a problem at all, I know Coldspring will run trough them with know problem at all. JMO...  I'm wanting Cleveland to take the 3rd spot in our District..

[/quote] Yeah, I was at the same game.  CS played sloppy in the first half and Cleveland was dug in.  I'm not saying that CS didn't eventually run off with it but it wasn't the walk in the park they've been having.  (the soft field didn't help Sherman and Colton either) I didn't see the second string on the field in the first half .... did you?  Both of those teams played a hard game last night.  CS won and won big but it was a game CS has been needing all year long.  I think that's why CS had the mistakes and penalties they had on them. [/quote] I was at the game, and I will tell you. If you will look at the game besides just being a trojan fan i think you would have seen what alot of other people seen.. Clevelan held coldspring to a punt in the first, stopped a couple 2pt conversions and held Coldspring from makiong some of the big runs in the first half like we normally see out of Gilbert. Clevelands D line and linebackers did a great job the first half. I was tired for them in the second half... So maybe go back and watch the film of the gamee and look at it in a nuteral standpoint than one sided.

Go online tonight to 1440thebreeze and listen to the Coldspring Cleveland game.. This will be a big game for the two teams, It is Coldsprings homecomming and the are raned 32 overall in the state and 5th in 3a.. These to teams really come out to play when they match up.. Hope you enjoy

[/quote] The talent in Cleveland is there still, Mapels has to figure out where to put the talent and utilize each player on the team.. I think If Maples can figure that out then the Cleveland Indians will be back playing as strong as they was in the Tullos era. Mapels was thrown to the wolves last year a week or so before 2 a days and I feel has came a long way with the team, but still has some learning to do as a head coach. I look for them to make make a vast improvement innext year or so
