I find this funny as Livingston struggled early last year as well as struggled against orangefield and still won the district district. New year for all teams but I think huffman and Livingston will battle for that top spot

I agree completely, the sad part for the district is the new alignment is coming up and the new school will open the following year. Rumor is them moving up for a couple years. I could be wrong, but the UIL has a mind of their own

Coldspring coming off an unwanted bye week do to illness will traveling to the cross county rivals, Shepherd Pirates... Pirates are 1-1 on the season.. Pirates are still a little young this year, who you got?

Whats yall's thoughts?? It was a battle last week for the trojans against HJ and only putting 14 points on the board. Penalties kept the trojans scoreless until the 4th quarter...

Im going to go on a limb and say Hearne.. Trinity will pull together a few wins but they will continue to struggle

While many Coldspring faithfull feel the Trojans should roll through this one, I think differently. Coldspring with an all new backfield on the offensive side of the ball, as well as young set of linebackers on the defensive side of the ball, the Trojans are going to count on sophomore Easton Dean to lead this team on defense . Sophomore quarter back Luke Monroe will be asked to lead the team on the offensive side of the ball.. with watching the first scrimmage of the season, no depth in the secondary will cause some growing pains for the Trojans this year.

He played, Huntington did a great job shutting down the inside run. and sloppy field conditions didnt favor the trojan run game.

Trojans played a shut out second half! And the defense was on point. Made some great adjustments at the half the the offense rolled as well. Contavious Hardin had 4td’s and 124 yards rushing for a total of 352 on the season.

3 coaches in 4 years make it hard to be completive, but i feel this is the year Coldspring takes it back from the cross county rival..

Coldspring Hemphill canceled as of Tuesday night

Coldspring looked bad, o line not firing off the ball and defense didn’t do a good job containing the run to the inside. I think when it it comes to district play the Trojans will be fine, it was a wake up call for the boys. HJ this Week, let’s hope the nerves will settle

Coldspring by as many as they want!! It was a battle between AS and CH, and Coldspring blew AS away both games this year
