Going to be a tough game next week. Big lights will be shining. CS did beat LaMarque early this season but it was a dog fight. Soles gone on d and will Wilson be back next week. Big question. Butler did a great job on d and made some big plays for CS. But LaMarque has gotten better throught the course of the season and will be playing for keeps next week. I'm looking at a low scoring game. What's y'all's thoughts

To tot all off he is a great student and his grades will let him go wehere he wants.. I had the chance to talk to his mom earlier in the season... He has a bright future..

Barbay has nothing against Cleveland and will be respectfull if that is the case.. I think everyone is has cleveland underated. They are a good ball club and will come out playing hard.. the 2 problems I see in Cleveland is their offense hasnt been clicking all 4 quarters and thave a lot of penelties. If thats the case then CLeveland will lose to Shepherd the next week. I think it will be a good game this week and do think coldspring will win. Clevelands D is strong. I dont think their offense is what it needs to be to beat Coldspring. 37-14 final for Coldspring

Keel and staff have done a great job in Shepherd. Shepherd wins this it could be a playoff spot for them. It should be a good game. If Townly over throws his recivers like he did last week Shepherd could win this one.

I will say this about Cleveland Fans. The whole getting rid of Tullos knocked their fan base down. A Lot of folks quit coming to the games for the wrong reasons and if the stands are not packed it affects the players on the field. I do remember going to Coldspring games in the past ( before Barbay ) and Coldspring didnt play well at all. Since Barbay has been there ,and after his second year there did the stands start filling back up. With that said if Barbay was to get dismissed for no reason like Tullos did the stands would empty like they did in Cleveland and it would affect the kids on the field. Now To the Coldspring Cleveland game. Last year Cleeland started 8 sophmores on D and they battled hard in the first half. THis group of kids have another year under their belt and been playing well. I think this may be a better game than we think if Cleveland can keep their Offense firing on all cylinders. Good luck to both teams next week.

Is it playoff time yet? I mean these games are boring after the coin toss. It has gotten to weare we are going to watch the bands play.. Cs by a ton on this one.. Hope the half time show is good and everyone has a safe game.. My question is will the town of Cleveland be sitting with Liberty watching this game as Coldspring will be in Cleveland the next week?

Kirbyville will make some noise for the next few years! [/quote] Cleveland did give some points up last year with 8 starting sophmores!! The points they did give up were late in the 3rd and 4th quaters. Clevelands D line is fast and strong. So I will say this Kvillecats. Cleveland is a much better team than they were last year. WIth 8 returning on D and a 10 times better quaterback taaking the snaps. I will say they are weaker this year in the running back spot but have made a lot of adjustments with throwing the ball.. Jmo eb=veryone has on and you sound like a " broken record".

I sure thought this board would be bigger by now!!!!! I am pulling for Cleveland their D is solid. On the offensive side of the ball, Taylor as a strong arm and the speed to back him up if the line doesnt help buy him some time in the backfield.. Just a couple days away, this should be a good game

Sorry y'all missed me there. I was at Porter watching Huffman run through them. Huffman looked well. Grey had 3 Td's in the first quarter. That's when I left. Great job Trojans.

Coach Keel seems to be doing a good job so far. I was there and Shepherd looked a lot better than last year. They had 3 kids working at qb a sophmore and 2 seniors!!
