I would have to say: Overton vs Evadale and Chester vs Cayuga Thats just my opinion.

Oh, I agree with you 85, some peaple just like to get things stirred up a little. Those boys will do just fine.

Dont be hard on him, there have been some pretty outrageous coments about some players on the team.  But dont take this team to lightly, they are pretty good.

I'd like to think that Evadale would be on this list.

I promise, there is no need to worry about Evadale.  They will be just fine. ( and if there is going to be a buna thread, let me know, i'll be there.)

I guess your right warrior. I was just wandering if there was a reason.  Trying to get an explanation, but i will get over it i guess.  I would love to go see that game though, it would be pretty exciting. kinda like mid county madness (Jasper county madness).

I just think that it is pretty funny that Buna wont play Evadale, but they eill play other 1A schools.  Thats all that im saying. Does anyone else think that this is weird or is it just me.  There has to be some other reason behind this.

Has Chester played Evadale this year. How do they match up?

Did Buna pitch their ace last night, or let some other pitchers get some work.  Just wandering if they played bad of iff Chester out played them.

Im for Evadale all the way, but you cant let the umps dictate the outcome of a game. Come on guys, just relax and play ball.  Dont get down, erase this game from your memory.  Just listen to coach Williams and everything will be fine.  You still have time to prepare for the playoffs.  If anything, this week has brought the Rebels back down to reality and let them know that this playof run isn't going to be easy, but you can do it.

  Evadale does have som good quality players.  That is a fact, but they would have to attend a JUCO for atleast 1 year before they would be ready for a D1 college.  Not saying that they cant, just saying that it is a huge jump from 1A baseball to a D1 school. Best of luck to the Rebels in the playoffs.

 That does sound kinda strange.  I know that Evadale has been trying to get a game with Buna for a few years.  This topic has had some heated discussions on this site.      Anyone from buna want to coment on this?

Congrats to these young men.  I played in the game myself and it is a wonderful experience.  Take it all in and represent Southeast Texas baseball well.  I know you will.

Congrats to all the teams that finished the season in the top 10.  Sad to say that the list will only get shorter from here on out. Its been a great season for southeast texas baseball and hopefully we will see a couple of teams from this list headed to AUSTIN.

Im with Aggiesarewe.  The Rebels, in my opinion, have the best chance in our area to go all the way.  Most folks around here dont put much stock in 1A baseball, but you have one of the best teams in 1A teams in your back yard.  Out of the teams in the poll, I would say that its going to come down to Jasper or Orangefield.  Both teams can flat out play. But if I was a bettin man,  I would bet on the Rebels.
