Very proud of Ned BLK Seniors this last game. See, our players actually did win. They won one of the battles, the Mental battle. For a couple of seasons now, we seem to lose the game before it starts. It happened our 2nd game this year against WOS. All I heard was “There Big!!” Some of my players had built a fear based on WOS’s success over the last couple years and a number of their good athelets. Regardless of what the score board read Sat., I didn’t see that same fear in most of the kids this game. Proud of my son #5. He told me he would play hard and have no fear. He did, took a pounding and wanted more. Fellas, winning that mental battle is a win that will go alot further than one game. Take that same attitude to the 7th grade, where the real games start and real coaches will mold you for FRIDAY night. GO DOGS!!!!

We just gotta look 4orward to the game Sat. Looking 4 a W. Hope my boys come playing 4 the trophy.. ;)

Ned BLK wins vs WOS (2nd week and wasn't ready for WOS) vs Lum W ( didn't stop the power I but will be prepared next time) vs BC (back and forth on scoring- 80 yard Int called back and let them get on top) vs PNG W(  :-[ had 21 + points but couldn't put it in in the red zone, only positive yards D gave up was one scoring option play) We're just laying low..LOL

Congrats to WOS. Excellent played game, they put it to us big time 44-6. I really thought it would be closer but... I was way off. Their running game was great but I think what impressed me the most was how fast and hard the defense tackled. If I could get our kids to go in full speed and make those kind of hits, it would be great. Maybe next year! Good Luck at Super Bowl.

IMO [/quote] The probem is not having 3 divisions, its predicting to early in the season that you are one of the top 4 teams. ;) If you happen to be one of the top 4 teams but can only make playoffs as a wildcard because you lost 2 conference games then it sounds like you may only see one playoff game no matter where your seeded  :o

[/quote] Thanks.  He broke it in the forearm.  1 bent bone that didn't break & the other completely broke.  He is out for the season.  Will go to Bmt Bone & Joint on Monday & possibly have to have surgery.  It wasn't broke @ the growth plate; therefore, they didn't have to send him to Houston last night.  He is at home resting & trying to figure out how to play baseball with arm & just bat...lol [/quote] Glad to hear he is a fighter and plans to bounce back quickly. Its football and accidents happen but if it could have been predicted we would rather have seen a rainout. Hopefully the rest of the season will be injury free for all teams.
