the coach and administration gambled by tolerating his thuggery for the benefit they got from his athleticism. the gamble failed and they must pay. they are responsible for the actions of the team when they should have reasonably believed there was a chance something like this would happen. there was a history. the outraged parents can make their feelings known at the next school board election. it happened on their watch. kinda like if a political party lies, cheats, and steals in the past, you must assume they will lie, cheat, and steal in the future.

Carthage has won every game with relative ease and I don't see a reason to think the game with China Spring will be any different. CS will be a well coached and well prepared team but the game won't be the same as the last time they met.

Carthage typically doesn't have a weakness. They can run it or throw it depending on what the defense is doing. And the coach always says they hang their hat on the defense. That's what it takes to win titles. And when they run up on a school with a once in a decade team, they have had the advantage of the better coaching. Their half time adjustments are crazy good. Titles are never easy.

one more cast off a carthage player by gametime with 2 to go. the last one probably couple more weeks.

Think we tend to put too much stock in common opponent scores. Carthage had sub's in early and gave Jasper 8 charity points. Tonight Jasper did not play a good game and I suspect China Spring played about as well as they could. I suspected CS would win as they are usually pretty decent with good game plans and a disciplined team.
