With three mins left  #44 Jake Miller took a nasty fall and BH's morale and momentum was stripped from them; at least that is what it looked like from the stands. (some of the BH fans were crying as he layed there) (he was down on the court nearly 5 min!)

HJ won the tournament, but BH made them earn that 1st place trophy. Congrats on 1st place HJ, keep it up!

[/quote] It was a very physical game and yes, there was some flopping, but on that particular play that was no flop. When you can rotate someone 270 degrees in midair... I understand when you want to make them earn the points from the line, but come on now... I think this foul was a little excessive.

Game was over by end of 1st. BH 21 to liberty 10 BH starters saw little playing time during the 2nd and 3rd qtrs and none in the 4th as they put the Panthers to sleep fast. Hawks are on the list for this weekend....

HJ will be luck to repeat last years records. :-*

We will see where BH stands after this weekend....... 5 games in 3 days with 2 good teams on the list. :-X

BH wins by 18.. I was at the scrimmage and BH beat Lee by about 15 and that was in the same amount of time as one real-game half, but Lee has their athletic football guys back so that should help them out a bit.

This must refer to 3A and below bc once you get into 4A and 5A its very rare to go multiple sports. For example I think Barbers Hill has 2 kids that play football and B-ball. One of them is the sixth/seventh man and the other, unfortunately, rides the pine.

Sutherland always seems to tweak whatever team he has and turn them into a playoff bound team. But Silsbee has got everybodys attention this year already and the scrimmages haven't even started! And don't count out the rest of the district bc injuries and grades can take a toll on any teams' season. 8)

I think that this game is gonna come down to turnovers for BH. If BH turns the ball over early then this game could get ugly early. But if BH can limit their number of turnovers, then we should have a close game.

viverette had a chance to have a game winning drive but crosby intercepted it and that was that...

5 out offense is possible but if you live by the three, you die by the three, and your rebound margin would be catastrophic.. and if you don't have a post on offense, how are you suppose to defend the opposing team's post when your on defense without running a zone defense?

he was fun to watch in high school and im sure he will continue to get better and do very well in college as well.

HJ... it seems everywhere Sutherland goes he wins a state title and no matter what talent he has he seems to turn them into a playoff bound team year after year.

The favorite is Ozen, but the Dogs have a good chance.
