Hey SeniorHawk they didnt put up 10 on us, maybe 5 just a good practice, We have Mauriceville today and we will have the two Comeaux boys ready to play... Deweyville is physical and they are the champs from last year,Preseason polls usually put the champs on top until someone proves otherwise. Good luck to yall Sat. I will be watching!!!! ;D

Vidor has a team in each division about 50+ kids.

It wasnt 10 you know how they are in Deweyville they cant count!! ;D I give credit when credit is due and it wasnt 10. They scored 2 times in fifteen plays. One run first play of the game and the pass to the TE. Then we went on offense. Just a good day of practice CORY!

The two boys that didnt dress out are not injured, we scrimmage Mauriceville today and they will be there ready to play. About the scrimmage against D- Ville, Deweyvilles offense looked real good, they are very physical, they run the ball right at you, they have a wide reciever #60 that is dangerous. Deweyvilles defense looked good too they swarm the ball, and are very patient in staying at home.. Now to Vidor, Vidors defense wasnt that bad, we had 2 starting line backers sitting on the sideline and yes it would have made a difference if they were in the scrimmage. Had some good looks Our D-line, and DBs are pretty physical most of D-vills scores were on plays up the middle not on the outside I believe they had a pass play to the tight end that was a score. Vidors offense samething had two kids on the sideline and yes it would have made a difference if they were playing, we found out who the kids are that will step up and play a position that they have never played before. Overall just a good practice for both teams. Good luck to all the teams in the Jamboree Saturday.

Thanks WOS75 I was one of the coaches on the Vidor team in gold and I am very proud of our kids on the team. From the beginning this group of boys played with heart and played to have fun. We preached to these boys about the importance in hustling on and off the field no matter if we were winning or losing. I wouldnt trade any of these boys for any other players. I wished we had more time to coach these kids before the tournament because we were starting to gel as a TEAM. We thought it would be neat to do the hat shake during the national anthem I'm glad you noticed it. Its just something for them to remember. Thanks again for the nice compliments. Well said! I hated for our run to end, but our kids played with heart for 3 games. Im very proud of them, I wish the best of luck to VIDOR 1 its going to be a up hill battle, but yall can do it!! Keep strokin the ball like yall have been doing. I want to give props to the TC league for having the fields looking awesome yall should be proud of the complex yall have. GO VIDOR!

I heard both Vidor-A and TC-A looked good in the scrimmage. I know Vidor A is very deep with pitching. I coach Vidor B and we are ok with pitching. We are going to scrimmage TC-B Thursday and hopefully get a good look at where we need some improvement. Good Luck to all the Mustang teams!!
