I was at the Liberty/Hardin scrimmage. Liberty's offense didn't look too bad, but there defense looks like they may struggle with the run and pass. Although I am routing for Liberty, I think Jasper wins big.

I agree. Why would they hire Slack. No proven record anywhere!!!

I am glad to see this also. I know Coach Jones personally and I think he is a fine coach no matter if it is as a position coach, or of which sport, or as head coach. He dedicates himself to the schools and the kids and this will better help to show what type of coach he is.

Reyes and Coach Hancock got into it over something. Reyes quit.

This should be a great game regardless of stats. EC has proved tough already. I think they will edge out AP.

I am going with Huffman in a good, tough game.

I know Coach Jones is trying to build a good program at HI. Hope to see them get better each week.

I think AP takes this one fairly easy.

West Hardin is the smaller school, but I think they still have more talent and will win this one.

The Dayton/BH matchup will be a good one. BH lost this one last year but it was their only district loss. And as we all know, Dayton lost some key defensive players. I agree with the others, the team that makes the least mistakes will win, and probably win district.

I agree with BHFan. I didn't think Crosby would beat PNG bu I am impressed that they did. I still think Dawson will take this one, but I was wrong last week too.

I think the spread is a good offense if the coaches utilize their players strong points and keep it well mixed with the running game.  Although, I do like to see the QB go under center also.

I would like to see Tarkington get a win, but I think Kountze will pull this one out.

Hardin is really weak this year. Tarkington may not be strong, but they should get the win this week.

Anahuac is a real good team even without their starting RB.  The Panthers take it by at least 20.

I watched Lee play last year and unless they have really improved, LaPorte takes this one easily.

I agree that Coldsprings will be top in district.  Would sure like to see Huffman take the second spot, which says a lot for the new QB and the coaching staff after losing some good players.  Don't think Liberty will be in the hunt for long.

PNG is always going to give it their best.  PNG by 20+

This is going to be a really good year for BH i believe.  BH by 20.

Great heart and determination from the Broncos.  The offense should be more solid with the other boys returning and keeping the run and pass mixed up well.  Defense needs to improve, which they did in the second half.  Should be ready for a great distict run though I think.

I'm looking for Dayton to win this year. If the Elkins team is as good as last years team, they will be tough to stop on offense.
