Vidor thinks everyone is their rival, 2. No one thinks twice about, "cares about", or considers Vidor their rival. As a pirate fan I love it. Strategically speaking, this would put us at a definite advantage in any given competition. Honestly, which mindset would you rather your players have? By the way, I like the Redman vs Whiteman Bowl.
I don't think anyone's said that Vidor thinks everyone is their rival or that a team should overlook Vidor, especially not this year. I think all that's been said is that Vidor's so-called "rivalry" isn't really a rivalry. It's just Vidor hating Nederland more than the other teams on its schedule while Nederland looks at Vidor the same way as five its other district opponents.
To most people "hating" a team makes them your rival.
To most people, the other team hating you back makes them your rival.
Not really. Serena and Venus Williams love each other off the tennis court. But on the court they are fierce rivals.
We're not talking about tennis and siblings playing each other individually, we're talking about football and teams. Different situations.
It doesn't matter what the situation is. The definition of rivals are the same no matter what sport.
A rivalry implies mutual feelings between the involved parties. With siblings competing in an individual sport, that's much easier to establish and stems from their common backgrounds and circumstances. That's much harder to establish for football teams and schools in general. Nederland does not view Vidor in the same respect that Vidor views Nederland. Therefore, no rivalry exists.
EASY Bamkid you are throwing some big words around!

 6.
TE what's that ? You mean to tell me we still have teams with a TE? I have to watch more 20-4a. I may actually hear some helmets and pads knocking. Love to see the TE pop open on the GANSTA route.
3 step release baby always good for a 1st (gangsta in the house baby)..Nederland could do some damage with this ..
 7.
My son played in Junior this year and I thought it was going to be another fun year. Let me start by saying he was the qb of a PeeWee team that won the Super Bowl and played qb and rb as a 9yr old last and helped a team that didn't win a game the year before make the playoffs. This year, as a 10, we expected big things from him and the team. We found out early on that the "coach" didn't want him to play qb and that he would get touches at rb. I thought that was strange, but didn't say anything. We started off the season with a record of 3-1 and my son scored 10 out of 15 tds with limited touches on offense. We then played a powerhouse team and lost by 40+ points. The "coach" got mad because he said my son quit on his team. Instead of "coaching" him and making him a better player, he decided my son wasn't going to play offense anymore. Any one else see a problem with this? It gets better. My son wasn't allowed to play offense the final 4 games of the season UNTIL the final game when we were losing by 6 with just over a minute to play. They called him in to play qb and I told the "coach" that my son didn't play offense. Was I wrong? Well the final straw was when I found out that he didn't make the allstar team because we only had a couple of chances. I know he's my kid and I might be a bit biased, but he was far and away the best player on our team and I feel like instead of coaching my boy the "coaches" decided that they would rather just not deal with him because of his attitude. I thought that as a coach you were supposed to help mold young boys into not only athletes, but better people. If you think I am just whining, maybe you're right, but if it happened to your child, you would feel the same way.
Come to Nederland I need a Q.B on seniors next season...Just kidding with you ..But this seems to happen alot now days maybe nexy season you should try to coach are at least get invoved with the team...I understand you may not have the time ...But you might want to get involved as much as possible..Good luck ....P.S the older they get it gets NO BETTER ...
 8. WOW P.N.G just picked up another RIVAL :o I think that makes 3 for you guys ..Y'all just past us Bulldogs for the most rivals :D

Have seen him do it on each long run Chase has had this season. Love the total package.
A reciever that blocks downfield.  I like that!  That would be the X-Factor for good running teams.
Blocking down field will lock it up for Nelson going to the next level...No doubt he will be there...good luck SON

 17.
I agree.  Plays should have been run to the edges all nigt after that first 3 and out with 3 consecutive runs up the middle.  Lets see if they can chase us around the edges. They know our blocking have been suspect all year.  How do you expect them to all of a sudden know how to block a superior D-Line? When you drop back for a pass, why was there no type of rollout pass to keep the d-Line from Ting off on the QB? No fire or urgence from my Jags will land them at home for the postleason for the first time since 2007.  Not discrediting Nederland, but there are things that could have been tried that was abandoned.  Yes, to sum it up, we were dominated in EVERY aspect of football last night.  (Nederland's drives began on the 50 yard line all night.)
I feel your pain Soulja..Just not this year ;)
 18.
We gonna surprise dem puppie Doggies
I was very very very suprised that yall crossed the 50 yd line one time ;)

 23.
Just my opinion, and it might not be worth much, but Corbin Carr should be considered the frontrunner for district MVP. The way he (and the rest of the D-line) is playing right now fundamentally alters how the opposing teams run their offense and even call plays. Livingston's OC was shellshocked last night.
You also have Brett Brown 16 TACKLES IN mcm..Carr had 2 maybe 3 sacks in the same game..But last night all about team tackling ...Woods is all over the field ..You can not say enough about this D..Trevin spoke with the team yesterday and he said they were focused ..
