Splendora looks pretty tough for the next couple years. The dark horse will be shepherd. They had like 8-9 sophs. and fish playing last year. Their JV was god-aweful. But they got alot of speed. Cold-city and Splendora is going to a battle the next 3 years( if the dist. stays as is). PP you have commented on all sports yall are 1-3 against Tarkington this year. Your basketball team was atrocious and you baseball team gets ten run ruled like it's there job. I wont hold the WOS thing against yall. Yall did get in, and WOS would have done that to anyone in this dist.

I was not asking about woodville. Evans and taylor made 4 big plays. That sums up that game. Mad. was pretty solid. t-town's run got stuffed. 0-big plays by wr's. Alot can be said about that line. But the bottom line is they did not give up the 48 to madisonville, the 63 to CC, the 58 to liberty. I'm surely not blaming the D. We played bad football all the way around (2-7). You cant blame it on two kids. If T-town wants to win they have to replace top 3 tacklers. top 3 RB's. Top 2 Wr's. and 3 o-lineman. Should be interesting.

Ivans just happened to be there when a guy named Benson was too. He had a very admirable career for the horns. They also had a RB named Joe smith that was a two time 1000 back at Louisiana Tech. Both those kids were in the same backfield their last year in 4A. C-town is looking at it's 3rd coach in as many years. Obviously not because the athletes. Stros one of those Soph's got all 2nddistrict. Meaning other coaches voted on him.

ease up.. Playa v. Playa..Both teams Have good facilities. I've ran at and coached at both. You cant compare to BH.. 2 words Hospitality Room!! None in the L. yeah a coach that spends 6 hours there does care Panterplayer.

Splendora.. Talent??? yeah I would take 5'6" over 6'5" too buddy.. If you want to see talent watch coldspring and cleveland. If you want to see well disciplined teams watch splendora, and Tarkington. Question for you how many playoff games did splendora win before Vela got there. Splendora's talent was Sindelar, and he graduated, but they are still a playoff team. Dont bash a good coach.
