I was confused about the whole, not waiting thing ither. The announcer himself seemed a real polite and upstanding guy, but IDK who he was taking orders from. In any case; good game tonight, first quarter wasn't so hot but we got into the swing of things. Splendora knew we're weak in defending the run so they attempted to shove it all night.

Well, you can bet your grandma that they've been working on run D like crazy lately. We can only have so much power to stop the run, but some of our tackling skills are simply weak.

I saw that, I'm worried. Hopefully he just rolled it or a sprain. He was able to be helped off the field, so let's hope... In the way of the game, we kind of let things start sliding in the second half. Our D wasn't near as sharp. No surprises, just stuff to improve on before Coldspring and the playoffs.

I understand there's been moves, but this senior class for Huffman has nearly always been superior in sports in this district. As a bigger 3A school we've had oppirtunity to more atheletic students.

Huffman will be pressed to make it past round 1, most likely Silsbee, but anything can happen. We'll see. Truth be told I'm looking forward to Huffman @ Coldspring more than any post-season matchup at the moment.

Agreed. The score didn't really suprise me much, but frankly we had entirely too many turnovers. Both teams did actually, but there were times when we couldn't hold on to the ball, even in the redzone. Another ride'n'spank with our 2nd/3rds playing in the 4th, but the score could have been 100-0 (not that anyone wants to see that anyway  :-\ )

man my prediction on this game was way off. Way to get back in BH.
