I told you so.  LP RUNS THE BALL AND RUNS THE BALL AND RUNS THE BALL. If you play to your stregnth then you will be successful.  I'm suprised by the PAM o-play calling.  The QB was inaccurate until we played prevent defense, i'm thought they should have run the ball more.  Well i guess thats the balance so despertately needed.  You can throw the ball all you want, still have to excecute. It was a good game towards the end, i give PAM credit for not quitting. As long as there is time on the clock you continue to fight is my philosophy.  Great game.

i dont know if you are fully aware but alot of PAM fans have been discussing certain victory on this post.  Being the only bulldog fan and the only one here predicting a bulldog victory, i would say i'm correct.

I agree with this poll.  Strength of schedule is VERY important in high school ball. i know 5A district 22 is NOT an eye-opener!  Pearland, Deer park, and LA PORTE are 3 spots every year, and then the 5 pasadena isd school duke it out for the last spot.  I'M A REALIST. We have it easy.

[/quote] Some teams are one-dimensional due to neccessity.  Dont throw the ball if you cant throw.  It'll be wishful thinking to believe LP can will toss 260 against the upper teams.  We have two good running backs, getting away from that is a mistake.   Speed kills only when you have the ball.  Now i'm sure you have plenty of speed at the o-skills, and i'm not gonna pretend that i've seen any of your games but i'm sure with my background in football, that if you're not putting up passing numbers it probably means you cant pass the ball.  You need protection, a QB that knows where to go with the ball, a QB that can deliver the ball, WRs who run good routes, WRs who can Catch.  thats alot you need for a passing game. An absence of one handicaps your pass game.  (DONT BELIEVE ME, WATCH H.I.S.D. teams "AIR IT OUT" for 4-33 comp%).  Sometimes you have to have to just stick with the girl who got'cha to prom.  which i hope is what LP will do to beat PAM ;D

Euless trinity is not balanced. Katy IS  a run team. Coach Massey was Katy's o-coord when they won state champs, and he LOVES RUNNING THE BALL.  Will you say that Lake Travis is balanced?  All i say is when something works, why change it.  if you run the ball well then run the ball.  High school football is still a run-scheme system.  few teams have the OVERALL talent to be a SUCCESSFUL 70/30 pass-scheme

[/quote] dblmoves, have you been to a LP game cause seems like you know our strategy.  Anytime LP passes the ball in double-digits is not a good game.  WE RUN RUN AND RUN.  I think SFA87 plays too much madden, when you resort to trickery, that means you dont have the talent to flat out beat them. LP ran on trick play in the games i saw and it went for six...but do i think they need to run it 40% of the time, HECK NO!  But maybe i'm old school with my ways, i'mma run it down your throat can you stop me???
