1. 35-14 at half. refs are killing Crosby with penalties.  Doesn't help that Crosby has turned the ball over twice. Aston Walter already has 213 passing and 3 TDs. Austin Walter is over 100 yds rushing too
2. I think Crosby's new fast paced, high octane offense will put up at least 28 the first half.  This forces Ned out of their offensive style and makes them throw the ball more than they are comfortable with and after a few 3 and outs or turnovers, Crosby really starts to run it up. Crosby 49, Nederland 28
3. I think Crosby has one of the best and most original logos in the state.  A former Crosby student actually created it.  It looks much better against a white helmet too as opposed to the red helmet last year.
4. Crosby is supposed to be getting a $300k new scoreboard in the very near future.  However none of it will be paid for by the school.. The company and school are responsible for selling advertisements on the board and large portions of the money from ads goes to the scoreboard company until the $300k is paid for. Once the board is paid for, the school will get all the ad revenue.  Its a win-win for all parties.
5. Marty Murr, Anahuac's new HC, was the secondary teacher of the year in Crosby ISD two years ago. just sayin
6. kickers can't be more than a 5.5 3-star on rivals, why would they show up in a top 200 list? with that said, Coranco is very good.
7.

Highly recruited by who. They are about 5"6 150 lbs. They are good ball players but lets dont go overboard. Also looking at the crosby program they showed 47 players and 30 seniors. Crosby has alot to replace.
I agree...  I doubt they won't be highly recruited, unless they grow.  Look at Montgomery's Leroy Dobbins from a few years ago.  He was one of the best HB's in the state, and one of the most explosive players I've ever seen.  Due to his size, he wasn't highly recruited and went to a junior college in New York.
LeRoy Dobbins didn't get recruited because he was a special ed kid.  He didn't even have near the grades he needed to get into any D-1 college.  Colleges were foaming at the mouth over him until they saw his grades.  Get your facts straight.
8. 1) Humble isd 2) CEK (nice stadium, turf, and parking is not that big of an issue) 3) BH (only because of new renovations/turf... access/traffic sucks) 4) NCisd (grass sucks, but parking and access/traffic are good) 5) Dayton (only because of parking and access/traffic) 6) Crosby (terrible stands/pressbox, turf is old, parking is good, traffic terrible after games)
9. alright vp, I'll play your game you rogue ;-) If we're going to throw out stats, then let's accurately compare apples to apples. Qb to Qb Aston Walter - Soph - regular season stats 105/158, 1451 yards, 14 TD, 5 INT 136 rush att, 852 yards, 8 TD 2303 yards total offense and 22 total TDs Quirante - junior 367 yards passing and 1033 yards rushing 1400 yards total offense, excuse my not knowing or caring to look up how many TDs he had one of these things is not like the other.  And dont feed me the line, "Vidor runs the slot-T and never passes" because Crosby ran the spread and our Qb still had nearly as many rushing yards as your slot-T QB.
10.

You are correct Aggie. It was the DFW clinic on their screen game. He and his staff spent an extra hour after with us. But clearly not enough time to judge those things. Anyways...how well are the lower levels in Crosby.
Just curious, who is "us"? BTW, not sure how the lower levels are in Crosby but I did get to see the varsity first hand last season as I broadcast their playoff game against Vidor. Varsity had great size and speed (Crosby's receiving corp was unbelievably big and athletic, all of them '6"3 or bigger) but just couldn't understand why they chose to line up in a 3-3-5 defense against Vidor's slot T offense. Vidor just ran through them with no problems, particularly the right side. The more talented team (Crosby) definitely got beat by the harder working team (Vidor).
Yeah they were really good AAW.  ::) Just a few stats from the game Aston - qb - 9-20 for 137 yards the most yards they got was from rushing. They had one receiver that was 6'2 and that was all intimidation seeing as how he had 1 catch for 8 yards and he was being guarded by a 5'7 junior. The leading receiver was 6'0 and he had the bulk of the receiving yards with 79. But i wouldn't call them the more talented team. IMO a real "talented" receiving core was Montgomery's. And i don't see them as the most talented team. They just simply got out coached and out played. IMO the most talented person out on crosby was the two twins and that was all they had. And they weren't as talented as Quirante and Clark
Really?  You're really going to go there?
11. its hard to fault Wilson too much for the attitudes and how classless his players are (not saying some of the blame doesn't rest on him).  CE King is a literal gang war zone.  I would be willing to bet that half of his team was/are still involved heavily in gangs.  I'm suprised every year that King is even able to field a team.  Wilson was probably looking to get out of there as soon as possible.  Its going to take a special person to win at King.
12. Lydell Wilson apparently got the job at Katy Seven Lakes, so CE King should be open
13.
Congrats on the new hire. Now need to somebody to ramp up the defense.
this
14. District 23-4A Houston Northbrook Houston Spring Woods Houston Stratford Fort Bend Marshall % Fort Bend Willowridge % Fort Bend Ridge Point $ Pearland Dawson Friendswood 2024 District 24-4A Angleton 1887 Texas City 1746 Santa Fe 1395 Galevston Ball Rosenberg George Ranch 1651 $ Rosenberg Terry 1642 Rosenberg Lamar 1680 Richmond Foster 1935 Not sure that guy owns a map... he's got two district that spread from SE houston to SW houston.  It would make more sense to pair the Rosenberg and Richmond schools with the Fort Bend and Spring Branch schools and keep 24-4A as it currently is.
