Hey soulja, since y'all are a fellow "kitten" school, it's only right that y'all turn their new turf into a litter box by giving them a 4A beat down to help them break it in.

The Willis air attack is conducted by seniors too. They really rely on momentum, so don't let them get ahead by more than 10 or so. If you can get in the QB's head early, he tends to make mistakes and just throw jumpballs. If they do get the confidence they need early, they are a dangerous team. If you get an early lead, it could turn in to a blow out though.

Humble's defensive front is going to cause havock for the Willis offensive line, and that is going to mean a long day for Nixon. As far as i am concerned the air attack will never get off the ground simply based on the pressure we can put on an offense with just four pass rushers. We will have a tremendous front 4, and see no reason why we should struggle against pass first teams....
Willis has 14 returning starters, but their defense was very poor last year. The potential for a shoot out is possible, but unlikley. I don't think a single team we will play will score more then 10-14 pts on us.
i see 18-4a playing out as follows
1. Humble- returns a solid group of seniors and juniors who were extrondarily young last season. Key wins: Ike and Aldine. Never were down right horrible last year, but never really clicked. Tons of talent, but insability at QB hurt them.
2. Willis- returns 14 starters, and Fred Nixion is legit. have skilled weapons, will prey on a defensively weak district
3. Hunstville- New coach, rebuilding year....
4. New Caney- Have a great shot at winning the final spot, benifit from test by fire in 14-5a. Have a strong Junior class and a great new head coach who will get them playing defense
5. Kingwood Park
6. Summer Creek- Small, fast, and deer looking into the headlights. This program has skill players, but will be very bad for numerous years (probably 4-5 years of losing)
7. Caney Creek- c'mon....their Caney Creek
8. Porter- way too young, have never played together under this head coach.

Looks pretty accurate to me.... Not much competition for you guys in 18-4A. Give Huntsville a year or 2 and they should be the most competition for y'all.
Any predictions like that for 17-4A? Remember Humble will be playing sombody that district in November... -

:D that's funny, but according to FNF, I would agree with you.

lol.
Dude, Humble is going to make FNF look really dumb. Huntsville and Willis all have one thing going for them, they have the skill players to stay in the game....but i don't think any of the teams picked ahead of us by FNF will come with in 20pts.
Willis has a weak defense and not much of a running game, but what they lack there, they make up for in their air attack. That being said, just hope your secondary is good and you can force them to run. I think it will be a shoot out though. As for Huntsville, they have a new coach, and lost their best player.(Justin Gilbert) They do have a fast QB and a good running game though. I'll let you know how they are this year since we have them in week 0. -

Bring it on...The bullseye has been painted ;D. This time y'all better win the toss, so y'all can pick the stadium. I remember last year, your tribe was upset about our stadium we picked. ;)
IMO, Montgomery is a team that's being underestimated...I would have them atleast in the top 20. They only lost 3 games last year. Each one bye only one play.
1. They were up 7-0 in the 2nd quarter, before a bad pitch on a option play around our 25, was picked up and returned for a td right before the half. We scored our opening drive after half time and made it 14-7. At the start of the 4th quarter Dobbins broke for an 80 yard td, but it was called back for holding... We ended up winning 14-7.
2. Huntsville led by 4, with under 2 mins to play. Montgomery was at the Huntsville 2, and had 4 downs to put it in the end zone for the win. Dobbins got the ball all 4 times and Huntsville kept them from scoring.
3. I'm sure Crosby will testify how dangerous of a team Montgomery is. From what I was told, that game came down to the wire as well.
They have most have their team back, so that will turn some heads this year. -

Could very well come do to the last possession...teams are very even. Both known for running, both have good QB's and both had atleast 10 wins last year. GP will need to find some WR's though. -

He's gonna be a problem. But the running game is gonna win this one. From what I saw on the net that backfield is fast. I hope the oline plays well. You really think memorial is gonna let the kittens spoil the baptism of the new turf? ;D

I warned you about us kitten teams. ;D -
Ya, Aledo has Grey for 2 more years.
I'm not sure who they talked to... Motivation though, right? -
Got mine 2 days ago, but I couldn't find it in Brenham, till today...it was at HEB to my surprise.

For the most part the rankings are similar to DC's in 4A, but 5A is alot different.

Dayton below PN-G even though they made it farther in the playoffs?

That's what it says. The thing that got me was, according to FNF, Westbrook is #48 in 5A. -

Not really, just thought it was pretty funny. I'm not sure how y'all do it in BH, but I give credit where credits due. Is BH's cheerleading better than their other sports? If so, perhaps they could give me a couple tips, so I can make sure our cheerleaders are up to par. ;) :D I think we have the major sports covered. Wouldn't you say so? Maybe our teams will meet up in the playoffs since we would both be D2. That is, if y'all can capture that third or fourth playoff spot.
Watch it now...BH baseball hasn't been bad. ;)

I sure hope we don't run into those guys next year... Lol ;)
Jayhawk, BH isn't fimiliar with winning, so they are clueless to what you are talking about. :D -

It's a little weird that DC has West Brook as #10, and FNF has them at #48. I understand that each magazine has different opinions and rankings, but 38 spots different... Rather unusual...

All that hate and dislike still won't get you out of flipping burgers in Dayton the rest of your life ;D What's it feal like for daytonians to know that they will be working for Corsby and Mont Belvieu people one day ???
What does it feel like for crosby and mont belvieu people to know that your wives and daughters come to dayton for "entertainment" right now? Thanks for the twelve thousand dollar upgrades, they make motorboating so much fun. Ladies love winners.
You mean after all of them farm animals you still got some energy left for Women????? No wonder yall are good at football! oh and the white around your avatars mouth says it all for me ;D
Obviously more "energy" than our BH counterparts. Are you trying to say that we are good at football because your women let us score at will? I guess its no surprise because your ladies are like your football team...no defense. You should really teach them not to give up the end zone so quickly. Oh and what do you have against powdered donuts, I think they are delicious.
Now that is funny stuff right there... Lol -

Hey Wildcast979,,Hows Angelton gone to look this year in their new District. In your Opinion..
They Had another Angelton Fan on here buh they dont get on here much..
Their new district is totally different then last years but will still be a tough one. Honestly I only see El Campo giving us fits and we play them the first week in district after a brutal pre-district schedule so we will be ready. IMO the only 2 teams to give Angleton and El Campo a test is Foster and Terry but even thats a long shot. Lamar Consolidated is supposed to be down this year i think they return under 10 players and are gonna be under a new coach this year. So its almost safe to say that the Cats' and Quandre Diggs will win their 3rd straight district title under Coach V and hopefully we see one of yall SETX schools in the 3rd rd
Maybe in division one, but if Angleton goes division 2, you're going to have to settle for a rematch against us. ;D ;) I don't see Lamar Consolidated making the playoffs though, but if they do make it and Foster makes it, i'll be looking forward to the rematch with you guys. -

Lol. I wish it were that easy. My sister looked for them in Austin, but she said she didn't see them. So I called my mom, because she was in Kerrville visiting a friend. She went to their walmart and said they had lots of them. Liltex, I didn't see any Blue-bell coupons, but I do have a couple of friends that work there and it is only 4 blocks from my house...best I can do is get any flavor, and get it for half price. Also, I can get a 3 gallon tub or 1/2 gallon tub. ;) ;D
Now all I need to do is wait for the football season and try to come up with a spare $200 to join you on that offshore fishing trip.... Then I'll be set. -
Awesome magazine. It's hard to believe it's only in it's first year. My only complaint is that there are alot of misspelled words and words left out in some sentences. Even with those errors, i'd still have to say, this is my new favorite magazine. ...good stuff
