When more info is added, such as Manvel had 300 yards of offense in the first half and PM only had 75 (and 0 offensive points), that sounds very different. Stats and scores, looked at independently, can be funny that way. One team held Manvel to only 200 yards of offense. Just looking at that information, it would sound like that team had a great defense and Manvel struggled. But Manvel won 55-0 (and was up 35-0 at the end of the first quarter). So much for for that team's great defense! So even though it was only 14-7 at half, Manvel certainly wasn't struggling with the PM. They were struggling with themselves. That is a problem Manvel needs to fix. Similarly, Manvel had about 300 yards of offense against North Shore in the first half. And 28 points from those yards. Would that indicate the PM's defense is better than NS's, since NS gave up more points than PM did? Certainly not. [/quote] no,overrated. i have watched manvel play over the past 3-4years and seen a talented bunch with alot of depth, but as far as team?? avg!! the duel qb system doesn't work well for them,but they do it anyway. with the depth they have,they can run fresh legs in and out the game and crush unconditioned or undermanned teams. however, when matched with the same,they are not good. for whatever reason they jumped out ahead of NS and seemed like they tried to play conservative and when NS showed it has depth and talent too,well you see what happend. [/quote]Duel QB system in place for 2 1/2 years and results were Regional Semis & State Finalist but it didn't work. LOL! Are you serious?  3 of those QB's are playing D1 ball now so it worked well for the program and the kids as well.  This a joke are something? [/quote] They were ranked 10 at the start of the season and that might have been a little high, but this is a top 15-20 team in 5A.  Has anybody beat NS?  No, so why point it out like Manvel was a disappointment.
