1. Washington County- Brenham & Burton. For the last 3 or 4 years, we have both been in the playoffs.  Even if you want to include private schools, Brenham Christian Academy has also made the playoffs for 3 or 4 years straight.
 2. Maybe they are holding it back from yall because Lincoln lost to BISD the last time they played.  Oops....  Wrong BISD?  (Stir, stir, stir)  ;)

You guys out west are harsh. Sounds a lot like my office. ;D
The West is wild out here, for sure....  ;D

I'm a big fan of the Vidor QB/MLB...terrific player that has a mean streak in a good way...he's a leader and he would start and star on any 20-4A team...he's the reason Vidor had a run last year...and he'll likely take you on another run this year...he takes care of the football and make kids around him play hard...you're right, players graduate and when he does, Vidor will have lost an outstanding HS football player...unless he has siblings, the mighty Vidor playoff run might well be over and that 20% winning percentage vs. PN-G will remain about right...and, I'll take the Indians again vs. the Pirates in 2012...that 1920s Wing-T is not as scary as Vidor thinks...its the Vidor QB that is sneaky good...contain him and keep him on defense, and Vidor can be beaten...just like it was last year 22-15. Go Indians.  Peace.
Not sure I'd call their defense from last year feisty.  Most of the time the defense was above averave but they did give up 31 in that game.  That's not good at any level.
Alot of the 31 was via air-mail from a good QB and a very good reciever ! I would say the "D" was feisty when they shut down a good running game !
I agree.  Nelson hurt y'all, but then again he did that to a lot of teams.
Killed us on the first part of the scrimmage, but we tied 7-7 on the live part.  With that being said I think we did ok considering what they have returning and everything we lost last year.  Not too bad at all.

 10. The first team is a joke.  One of the best players (at his position) in the state is listed on the 2nd team for just 4A region 3.  Oh well, I guess it happens....

(Blue Bell) I don't think they care much for fancy stuff.  In fact the bleachers on the visitor side are still wooden.  SMH
you guys deserve a new stadium IMO
No kidding.....  I hate that stadium, but they just put new turf in, so I don't see us moving anytime soon.  We'll probably be there another 15-20 years.  It's pretty bad when 1/3 of the visitor's side is used for home seating.  On the plus side it makes it a pretty intense place to play when it's full.  We did get a new field house a few years ago though.

When is the first preview show?
 18. Wunderlich was the Cubs lead off batter in his break out year, last year.  He batted .365 and led the team with 6 HR's (including 2 multi HR games) Last month he verbally commited to Rice, and now he has made the honorable mention team as an outfielder.  Look for him to lead the Cubs next year.
 19. SMH @ Coach West!  According to the Banner Press, the Brenham QB race is still wide open....  (not sure how)  :o It says not to be surprised if we are still using a 2 QB rotation in week 0....  ::) I'm not sure why he thinks the QB race is even close.  IMO, the soph Walter Thomas looked way better than the other 2.  The junior, Erik Yeager didn't look bad, but not near as good as Thomas.  The senior, Stark, was just flat out hard to watch.  Last year, Stark was the back up on varsity, Yeager was on JV and Thomas on the freshman team.  I will be shocked if Thomas doesn't secure the starting job before district play.
 20. Brenham lost a LB to a broken arm in the Manvel scrimmage.

I also appreciate the fact you came out to see the game that alone shows you have respect for our program. I also agree that chambers carries the ball like a loaf of bread but that will be fixed and there is no doubt he will be a good qb who can take it to the house on any given play. I was just making a point that almost everything you pointed out was fixable.
I agree completely.

 25.
I think the assesment of our team last night was about right. I will say though that this was the first scrimmage and dayton will clean up their game. The offensive line will be very good as the season goes on. The reason our jv look so dominant is at least 2 of those kids will be on varsity by the time district starts. One more thing dont judge daytons chances on a deep playoff on what you saw last night. Dayton is usually a slow starting team and we have alot of young talent that will continue to improve.
I won't, nor have I ever.  I've been around the game long enough to better than that.  It's early and a lot of things will change throughout the year.  I don't think you're aware of the credit I give, or the respect I have for Dayton.  I'm well aware of the "Bronchos" and have been for a while.
