I will however never agree to how the decisions are made, emotional with questionable analytical stats to back up those decisions once the list has been made. Congrats to the recipients but it is pointless to argue about them because it will be the same thing next year. jmo

Well.... Silsbee can fill out the blanks & answer all six questions consistently. The last two depends on what town you are from but EVERY town in the 409 can fill out those two. jmo

Again, if that statement is seen as attacking a kid then I'll just have to stop trying to rationalize this argument. Wow. Ok where do I start.... I do not attack kids. This is a forum for discussion and the comment you quoted somehow led you to believe that I was. Of all the comments that flow thru these forums you zoned in on that. Sounds like it's personal. This was comment about the game in progress.... In no way was I knocking or disparaging the other lineman who were doing there jobs. The "defense" includes 7 other personnel. It was a tough team to play. I've been there and know the feeling. I won't apologize but I empathize if one of these players was important to you, I don't need to know who, because it wasn't directed at anyone personally. There is a difference of disparaging personal attacks and football discussion. To be clear your response above was definitely the former. Not worried about our Orange County neighbors. They've always had a great football program. They're proud of that football tradition and it has been earned. But I'll not pretend that that both of our communities don't have classless individuals. Silsbee has unfortunately been involved with some pretty serious actions in high school sports but to pretend that ANY of the surrounding communities haven't had their own share of embarrassing or shameless acts is what I find so hypocritical. I love this town. I love most of the ideals that come with living here. Just as many of you love your communities. Leave it at that and quit lumping the whole town, any town, and it's citizens Into one pot. That is what's shameful. Good win this week Stangs and as always good luck. Until next time.

No that I agree with the practice... but if you were gonna play football there were always two rules back in the day.... Wear a cup and end up face down when tackled if possible. 😉
